Dear all, we are currently working on a design concept for a new form interface option for cataloging, which will make it easier to navigate long fields and subfields - we will take this request into account as part of this design. Changing the existing re-sequencing task would impact all libraries, whether interested in this change or not - but we will look into adding a new re-sequencing task that will handle all fields, so libraries will have a choice on which re-sequencing behavior they want to apply.

We are investigating the options for enhancing the job reports as part of a general enhancement to the jobs UX, which will then allow gradually deploying report enhancements to the different jobs in Alma.

Dear all,
We are adding physical item templates to our roadmap.
It will be possible to save an item as a template, and then use this template to pre-populate new items when they are created.
The system will remember the user's template selection, so they won't be required to specify the template each time they create an item (only when the item differs from the previous item created from a template).

We suggest the same for 863, 864 and 865 holding fields. If subfield z appears in another line it causes confusion about if this refers to the line above.
