Allow patron to delete pdf from Primo after downloading. This helps patrons manage very large lists of received pdfs. Some of our patrons are used to being able to delete received pdfs after downloading them locally, since this functionality was available in Illiad.

External ID number should change if the partner library changes
Rapido keeps the old ILL number (External ID) when a borrowing request is not filled and moves on to another partner. The Ext ID number should be unique between a pair of partners. Right now you can have a Rapido request with a RapidILL number, a British Library request with a RapidILL number etc. Because each partner type has a different set of conditions (ex. allowance of renewals), each time you have a different type of partner, there should be a new Ext ID number.

Stacking requests functionality for scanning items
We will occasionally receive multiple digitization requests from the same item from the same school or from different schools. The issue is that Alma only writes one request to the pick from shelf at a time. This would work for physical requests, but for digital scan requests, its not the most efficient workflow.
For example we receive two requests, one for chapter 2 and one for chapter 3 - whether they go to the same or different schools is not relevant.
The current workflow is:
a. request writes to pick from shelf
b. staff retrieves item from the shelf

As we understand it, "Ship Digitally" requests should be Cancelled and "Patron digitization requests" should be Converted. However, requests in the pick from shelf lists don't show this distinction and both "Cancel" and "Convert" are options in the row action. To minimize confusion, we would prefer to gray out or hide the "Convert" option for a Ship Digitally? request.

Create a way of marking borrowing requests visually for Staff Attention
Sometimes we receive borrowing requests that need special staff attention when the item is received or returned. Examples include:
When the other library is sending an invoice inside the item we are receiving
When the other library requests special handling in the use of the loaned item
When an item needs to be returned in special packaging or with insurance
When an item needs to be returned with accompanying IFLA vouchers
When an item has loose pieces which need to be checked for upon receipt or before return

Print each volume’s individual barcode on its hold slip “Resource Request Slip Letter”
When receiving a multivolume set on a single Rapido request, each volume gets its own individual temporary barcode. However, when printing hold slips (“Resource Request Slip Letter”), each volume’s hold slip prints with the barcode of the first volume that’s scanned into the request. This is a problem because libraries place their barcodes in different places on the book, so inevitably our circulation student staff will use the barcode on the hold slip to check out the book that they just took off the hold shelf instead of hunting for the barcode on the book. Support file exchange via Odyssey
While we are able to send and receive files with other Alma, Rapido, and RapidILL libraries via RapidX, the resource sharing world is much larger than these three systems. While ExLibris talks about supporting interoperability, we are not yet able to receive files using the file sharing method dominant among our peers, even though its platform is open source. Allow library to fully edit their member name
Alma requires you to use the institution name in your resource sharing shipping information. For libraries that share an instance of Alma with another college or university this creates confusion for partner libraries during processing because the first name in the institution name is not necessarily the name of where an item is going.
Example:
Borrowing library: College A
Institution name: University of B and College A
Shipping address:

Limits for RapidILL scan from print requests
Since all Rapido scan requests are converted to RapidILL requests and thus have a 24-hour service commitment, we’ve been noticing an unmanageable workload on Mondays with requests coming in over the weekends. Prior to dropping OCLC we could balance our workload by doing the urgent requests first and the less urgent requests another day, but now all of our most time-consuming requests are also urgent.
Possible solution: Limiting the number of scan from print requests that can be assigned to one library at one time.2 votes -
Show original source of GTI records
Our patrons can find some pretty unique items through the GTI records in Primo, especially as more libraries place archival records in their catalogs. However, they expect to be able to request these items via interlibrary loan, and without any way to tell whose catalog the record originated from we are having trouble finding items which are listed in the GTI but not listed in OCLC’s Worldcat. Book strap generation
Hello,
We manually create book bands that go around the front cover of our incoming borrowed Rapido books. The strap has information like, due date, pick up location, etc. It would be great if Rapido had an option to generate a book strap with custom fields that can be enabled depending on what information each library likes on their book strap.1 vote -
In Rapido Primo profile, filter out full text resources provided by our library.
When our patrons link to our Rapido Primo profile, the results include full-text resources provided by our library. This is confusing to our patrons. This should only include resources that can be requested from other libraries.

Note to Patron for Digital Local Upload
It would often be helpful to include a note to the patron when filling local, digital borrowing requests. This would allow us to provide further context or resources about an uploaded file or link to the patron when filling requests with owned materials through the local fill process.

Attempt to balance loaning and borrowing within a pod
We recently joined, and then 3 months later withdrew from, the US Pod. We were lending twice as many books as we were borrowing, and since it's reciprocal, it was a net cost for us when you include the shipping costs. We would want to join again, if there was a load balancing function that reprioritized lenders based on who was a net lender vs a net borrower. Ability to re-check Digitization and Copyright Rules
When lending library receives digital request without page numbers, the lending library has the ability to add page numbers and re-check against rules to see if it violates copyright rules.

Combine email partners
We would like to be able to combine email partners the same way we can now combine ISO partners. This would be helpful in cases where multiple libraries on a campus combine into one symbol. We don’t want to delete the partner libraries we are no longer using because we want to retain the stats, but they clutter up our list of partners and are too easy for someone who doesn’t know that the ILL departments have merged to click accidentally (i.e. if someone were requesting a book from Harvard Law and didn’t know that the main Harvard ILL department…

Add "Reported" Filter to the Borrowing Side of Rapido
We use the Reported filter in Lending lets us filter between items that have been printed (Reported=Yes) and requests that have not been printed (Reported=No). We use this to make sets to print pull slips in Lending without accidently reprinting anything.
We would like this in Borrowing to help us with our return label Sets. We could then have one Set for items that have been returned and need a shipping label printed.
