Hide Pod Terms
Issue:
Since going live on Rapido in 2022 I have consistently received requests from staff and librarians asking for more control over the appearance of pod terms on the Rapido tiles. The bold parts of the tile are not editable at all and have created many patron complaints when the terms are not met because either A) the first library in the pod request order is unable to fill the book for some reason or B) the book is delayed due to shipping issues or staffing issues. The button "Read RFID" should also be available in "Shipping Items" (Fulfillment --> Resource Sharing: Shipping Items) to scan in items.

Add Lending Mediation Rules
It would be extremely helpful to have Lending Mediation Rules similar to the Borrowing Mediation Rules. Even if the rules only added labels to use with Sets would be a huge improvement.

Adjust a lost item fee to the Lenders cost
Summary:
Currently, when staff members need to adjust a fine or fee (for example, to correct the replacement cost of a lost item), the process requires deleting the existing fee and creating a new one. This creates a significant issue: the newly created fee is not correctly linked to the associated item record.Problem Description:

Add more fields to the right pane quick edit 'Request form (as filled by requester)' in Rapido
In Rapido, the 'Request form (as filled by requester)' section on the right pane has some great features. It allows staff to quickly access and edit some of the request form fields. However, certain crucial fields are missing from this section, limiting its effectiveness.
Current benefits:
1. Hovering over a field shows a tooltip containing its complete contents. This means staff don't have to open the request to edit, navigate to the field and use the across arrow on the text field to slowly read its full contents. Sometimes important information is missed if this step isn’t taken.

Match "Send email to partner" design with “Send query to patron” to include External ID and CC
The 2024 August release introduced the "Send email to partner" feature. We would like this feature to match the current “Send query to patron” function found in the Borrowing Request.
Currently the "Send email to partner" feature lacks some critical information.
In the Lending Requests, the External identifier and Bibliographic details are missing. We also notice it does not have the cc (carbon copy) functionality.

Automatically repopulate bibliographic data when changing standard number
Sometimes when we’re changing an ISBN or OCLC number, we’re changing editions - from ebook to print book, from international edition to local edition, etc. We know Rapido is pulling metadata from somewhere when those numbers change because the cover image of books change. It would be helpful if the system also changed the other standard bibliographic data - edition, place of publication, publisher, and year - based on the new ISBN. This ensures that we’re sending consistent information to our lenders without having to waste time inputting all that data ourselves.

Add additional fields to Rapido request form for physical requests
When patrons request odd editions of items, we’re left wondering whether that’s what they meant. Do they really want the British edition for some reason, or is that just what they found first? Do they really want the German language edition of this graphic novel? We would love the ability to add fields for “this edition only” and “this language only” added to the Rapido request forms for physical requests. Mediate requests based on presence of certain fields
We would like to be able to mediate requests based on the presence or absence of certain fields, such as the page numbers. For instance:
For physical requests which include the number of pages in the book due to either an error in the patron understanding the blank form or a database importing information wrong, anything that gets sent directly to a RapidILL partner gets interpreted by the system as a copy request. Volume information from RapidR requests should import to Rapido
Sometimes we’ll get a request for a single volume from a multivolume set where RapidR shows which volume the patron wants, but that information hasn’t transferred into Rapido and doesn’t show on the pull slip. In these cases, someone has to take the extra step to log into Rapid to find out whether volume information is available, which is a waste of time. Transit times via Analytics Reports
We would like to have a clear view of transit times in Rapido, in order to ensure an efficient user experience, optimize internal workflows and enable accurate calculations of the various relevant dates.

Enable back-and-forth of requests between Resource Sharing and Purchase Request
Request Description: Often we’ll send requests that are difficult to get via resource sharing to acquisitions by creating a purchase request from Rapido. However, in doing so create a separate request and never find out whether the patron actually got their item. This means that if a patron comes with us with questions, we can’t answer them. (Is acquisitions working on it? Did they cancel it? Who knows!) Create Purchase Requests from Rejected Borrowing Requests
When creating a purchase request from a borrowing request that was rejected by the last partner on the rota, staff don't see the pop-up window where they can choose to keep the borrowing request active alongside the purchase request or cancel the borrowing request. Instead, staff are taken directly to the purchase request form with their name added as the requester and the borrowing request remains active. Print multiple slips for multivolume requests
For multivolume requests, only one shipping slip or return slip is printed even though Rapido knows there are multiple items involved in the request. Practitioners have a few workarounds right now: we can rubberband items together; we can photocopy the printed slip; or we can reprint the slip however many times is needed to have a slip per item. The second two options are a waste of time, and the first can lead to items with no paperwork attached to them if the rubber band breaks or the books otherwise become separated from each other. Replace uploaded file when resending to patron
Sometimes someone makes a mistake when scanning an article or book chapter and we need to send a second file to the patron. Currently, when we upload the second file to Rapido it creates a second URL for retrieval which is then sent to the patron. However–especially if we notice the error before the patron does–the patron often clicks on the first URL sent to them instead of the URL with the correct scan. Full partner records for RapidILL partners
Our Rapido, ISO, and email partners all get full partner records in Rapido. However, our Rapid partners just get a per-request import of contact information from the Rapid directory that we can’t augment or otherwise work with. We want partner records for RapidILL partners to appear in the Resource Sharing Partner List; they could either appear only in the Institution list, or appear in the Community list so we could copy them into the Institution list to edit them.
