Fine Letter - Much like the Lost Item Replacement Fee but a standalone letter
Alma only gives a User a fine notification within the return receipt but it's merely an afterthought. Currently, we have this set to go to a printer (e-mail address) because we don't want to spam our patrons with return receipts for every item they turn in (I have asked within Sales Force about grouping but even then, it still sends out return receipts individually).
Ideally, I'd love an option to send a letter ONLY when the person had a fine, and not every time they returned something. This letter would also have more customization, and include fields like Bar code, Primary Identifier and User Group.

Alma Product Management would like to update you on a related enhancement which will provide capabilities for handling notifications on fines/fees owed by patrons
As part of the upcoming December release, libraries will be able to configure rules that will trigger notices to patrons who owe a debit to the library. The rules will be sensitive to the type of user, to the library that owns the fines and to the minimal owed fee. For example, it will be possible to configure a rule for triggering a notice to every undergraduate that owes the Main Library more than $10 .
