Ability to link to single interface records from vendor record
At the moment, when you link to an interface from a vendor record in Alma the interface record cannot be linked to one that has already been set up. For example, if you have Vendor A and link it to Interface X you cannot also link Vendor B to Interface X. You are also unable to have two interfaces with the same name. This is required in situations where we have multiple vendors for the one interface. For example, SAGE journals are acquired directly through SAGE but the ebooks are acquired through iGroup. In this case we would like to link the SAGE interface to both vendors SAGE and iGroup. That way we only need to update the one interface record for SAGE.

This is also a problem when an institution has more than one library using the same instance of Alma. When one library "claims" an interface for their vendor, other libraries in that Alma instance cannot use the interface on their vendor record, even if they have inventory activated on it.
My question is what is the relationship between the actual CZ e-collection interface and your made up interface name because you can't use the one in the collection? Does this situation negatively impact some Alma functionality, or is it just an issue of data storage and retrieval?

We have been creating and adding local interfaces to vendor records (and then creating local collections and inventory that use the local interface). This way the inventory is linked only to the applicable vendor record.
It would be great if you could link interfaces to multiple vendor records and also be able to distinguish what inventory goes with which vendor.
