DKIM for institutional domain
Allowing DKIM creation for institutional domains. Currently, ExL cannot generate DKIM keys for those institutional domains and allowing us that option will better serve our patrons.
Ex Libris platform products now support DKIM digital signature for outgoing emails.
For more information see the online help page in addition to a Developers Network technical blog Outgoing emails configuration

Adding to this - ExLibris is one of the only services our University uses that does not have DKIM support. This is delaying us from implementing a DMARC policy.

We have started to use Alma resource sharing Ship item digitally. This functionality sends an email to a patron with a link. The patron needs to see the email not have it go into a junk folder. Also, the patron needs to know that the letter and link are from their library.

This is a fundamental feature of email security. I can't believe it hasn't been implemented yet.

This is going to be increasingly important for everyone who sends email from Alma using their domain. ExL should implement this asap to ensure email deliverability.
