Open predicted issues in bulk / by help of a job
only option in alma is opening the predicted items per title. We would like more functionality in the receiving workbench. We can see that predicted issues can be opened for the coming year when in the receive screen, so have to do it title by title!

Hi all,
Work is in progress on the bulk opening of predicted items. This will be available in the November 2026 release, enabling a quicker opening of the 2027 cycle of predicted items.

Automatische Generierung von Vorhersagemustern
Sobald in Alma ein Vorhersagemuster erstellt wurde, soll das System jährlich automatisch alle Exemplare generieren, ohne dass wir jedes weitere Exemplar manuell anlegen müssen.
Dies vereinfacht unsere Arbeitsabläufe in der Erwerbung erheblich.

Once a prediction pattern has been created in Alma, we would like the system to generate all items automatically each year, without us having to create every additional copies manually.
That simplifies our Acquisitions workflows substantially.

Our need is similar: create a import profile new order in order to import field 852 and field 853 referred to the last of the existing orders, avoiding duplication. Then open predicted items in bulk.
Current situation:
The New Order import profile for Print Journal - Subscription, in the case of bibliographic records of journals that already have orders with related holdings:
Mapping Policy = Advanced: 852 is imported, 853 is not imported
Mapping Policy = Basic: 852 is imported, 853 is imported but repeated many times as many holdings already exist.La nostra esigenza è simile: creare un profilo di importazione New order che importi il campo 852 ed il campo 853 riferiti all’ultimo degli ordini esistenti, evitando duplicazioni. Poi eventualmente aprire le copie previste in bulk.
Situazione attuale:Il profilo di importazione di tipo Nuovo ordine per Print Journal - Subscription, nel caso di record bibliografici di periodici che abbiano già ordini con relative holding:
Policy di Mappatura=Avanzata: 852 viene importato, 853 non viene importato
Policy di Mappatura=Di Base: 852 viene importato, 853 viene importato, ma ripetuto tante volte quante sono le holding già esistenti
