Add the Import function to the Statistical Categories/Types mapping table.
Statistical Category and Category Types can be Imported but mapping them is exceedingly tedious.

Yes, please add this! I have a python script that could automate this entire process when our admissions or HR departments change the codes they use to describe our institution if only we could import this mapping table as well!

The actual system is so fastidious, that we have renounced to mapp the new statistical categories of the year (several hundred). -

Yes we need to map hundreds statistical categories and it would be great to have the type code for example in the Statistical Category import (as Witt said in another comment).

Would love to see this implemented soon. We've been working on our statistical categories and it is an absolute pain to map these.

Or just make the "Statistical Category" import takes 4 columns [cat_code, cat_desc, type_code, type_desc] if type doesn't already exist, just add it....
