    I agree. The Display logic rules - should have an option of "Show Service" and not only "Hide Service. The limit of "Hide" service force us to create complicated rules.
    For example if we want to show the RS form only to 1 user group and only when the item is no owned by the library. We have to create 2 different rules, in one of them, we have to list all the other user groups from which we hide this service.
    The functionality of the GES is much better.

    I suggest unifying all the ideas regarding searching external resources feature, and consider changing it completely.

    That would be a great idea! It's especially weird that our system number field is filled as a search criteria when searching external resources.

    I agree and I think the whole functionality and look of "search external resources" should be changed to be more flexible and user friendly. Allow the user control the fields that are automatically copied from the original record, control the fields that are displayed, and add the refine functionality - as Anne asks here.     I would add also, let us control the results display, and show more fields on the short display such as call number. (We sometimes want to compare and see quickly which call number other libraries gave to the book we edit, without having to open each record.

    AdminMoshe Shechter (Alma Senior Product Manager, Ex Libris) responded

    The Manage Patron Services menu has moved to the new UI, allowing improvement management of the payment process from that interface.

    I was optimistic about exploring this idea further. While I had hoped to prioritize this enhancement, it hasn’t gained the traction we typically look for to move forward. As a result, it’s unlikely to be implemented in the foreseeable future. That said, your feedback remains valuable, and I’ll continue to keep it in mind as our roadmap evolves.

    I repeat Lynne Porat's question, I don't see this feature in future releases..
