An error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment Florence Lanz (UBE) commentedWe strongly support this idea, as we also need further options in the pickup locations options of the TOUs.
We have seven courier libraries, which deliver items to each other. However, the reading room items of one library are only meant to be sent to the reading room of one of these courier libraries.
Currently, the items can only be requested to be picked up at all reading rooms or the one of the owning library (which is the wrong one).
The solution of an in-list-choice outlined above would solve this issue for us and we hope it will be considered for development.
Attached you will find an example of how we would like to set up the item policies accordingly.

An error occurred while saving the comment Florence Lanz (UBE) commentedFor clarification about the above-mentioned restrictions and item policies: these item policies that are defined for our NZ only allow "Pickup only in owning library" and their loan length is set to "No loan". Therefore, they should not be considered for delivery and if they are processed by mistake, the warning should show based on their pick-up location setting and their loan length setting in the terms of use.

Unfortunately, the associated NERS-request did not receive enough votes for implementation. However, Ex Libris offered a great solution to the above-mentioned issue, which I'll allow myself to share here:
"The suggested solution will be -
It will be possible to configure In the Fulfillment configuration an institutional list of 'Pickup groups'. Each row in the 'pickup group' table is made of:
The pickup group code
A library name
Optional - a specific reading room name
For example, the institution may define 2 groups:
East libraries
West Libraries and one east reading room
West Libraries and all east reading rooms'
The 'East libraries' may be defined as:
E1 library
E2 library
The 'West Libraries and one east reading room' may be defined as:
W1 library
W2 Library
E1 reading room
The 'West Libraries and all east reading rooms' may be defined as:
W1 library
W2 Library
E1 reading room
E2 reading room
The pickup groups will appear in the list of options when defined a Pickup Location policy. Therefore, it will be possible to define a pickup policy of 'West Libraries and one east reading room', and set this policy in a request TOU.
If an item may be request as per the 'West Libraries and one reading room' policy then all of the pickup locations of this group will appear as selectable options.
Changing the pickup group setup will affect the recalculate process as does changing the policy value.
Deleting a pickup group will not be possible if it is used in a policy. A 'Show Related policies' action will enable reporting a list of the policies that made use of the group, similar to the 'Show related terms of use' option for policies."
As there is such a good suggestion in place, maybe it could be implemented through the Idea Exchange here?
