Provide the ability to view historic requests including Alma Resource Sharing requests: • It is important for patrons to be able to see what they have already requested. If certain items are requested more than once copyright might be infringed. • Cancelled requests (by both the requester and the library) should be included • It should be possible to filter the list by request status and request type • Alma Resource Sharing requests should be included. Our patrons previously used the Relais ILL system which permitted them to peruse historic requests. • The option could be made accessible as for myLibrary LOANS Previous and historic loans

When a loan due date is shortened due to patron expiry, Alma will retain and internal  an indication for that on the loan record. This way when the patron expiry is updated (shortened OR extended) the loan due date will be recalculated using the loan date (i.e. as if the recalculation is happening at loan time).

This way, the due date may be extended or shortened according to the new expiry date.

Could Ex Libris comment on this Idea? It's similar to NERS 6737, which was included in Round 2 of Alma NERS 2020 enhancement voting. Ex Libris sized the complexity of NERS 6737 as 25 points.

We’re looking at adding an indication in the Manage In Process Items next to a request where there are more digitization requests for the same item in the queue. A row action will allow the staff to complete the current active request and activate the next.

We are investigating the options for enhancing the job reports as part of a general enhancement to the jobs UX, which will then allow gradually deploying report enhancements to the different jobs in Alma.

Currently both physical and digital collections are published to Primo. Because of this these data elements can be added to the display sections of the Primo UI including the collections facets (courtesy of the Primo back office rules).

Similarly the collection name is published to Primo Central and therefore can be included in the collections facet and full display Details section.

Note: The publishing should also include details showing whether the resource is a Community Zone resource or not. (It may be desirable to only include non-Community Zone collections in the Primo displays as the PCI collections is already displayed).

    Use cases:
    1. Currently our Primo collections facet includes Alma physical and digital collections values and PCI collections values however the Alma electronic collections are missing.
For consistency if should also be optionally possible to include the electronic name in the collections facet.
    2. Setup the Alma electronic collection to be included in the Primo display and search fields.
    3. Ability to publish the electronic collection for third party products such as Unstacked.
