Better layout for ‘Ask your library to create your list’ on the quick start screen
Libraries can display the “Ask your library to create your list” option on the quick start screen. We think it would be great if this option would be displayed in the same layout as the options “Create new list” and “Select existing list” in a box with title, image, description, and button.

Set default citation statuses in RIS import
When we add an item manually, a resource locate is run and a default citation status is added based on our configuration. But when we import items in a batch (eg via RIS import), these actions don't take place.
This means that items all import as "Being Prepared" instead of being automatically marked as "Complete" (if we have full-text online available) or being flagged for our attention (in other cases). We don't have a workflow to deal with this - due to low staffing we have to rely on automation - so we can't promote this batch import functionality to…

Upload one file per page range allowed
Some material types like book chapter or book extracts, allow to have two page ranges.
However, it is only possible to upload one file. The page range data from the citation is used in our copyright platform integration, and PDF files are created based on this data, that is, one per page range. Having to merge the files before uploading them is unnecessary extra work so we would like to be able to upload several files per citation (1 per page range).

Bulk Update for reading list sections
It would be useful if we could run a bulk update job on certain sections - for example if we need to re-name them, add a description, or remove them.
A use case for this is that we have sections on many reading lists naming a certain supplier of eTextbooks, and we would like to change this to just 'Digital Textbook' and be vendor-neutral. This will have to be done manually for 630 lists and it would be much better to do it in one job.
Similarly, now we cannot add section descriptions to templates in the new UI, this…

Leganto Questions: add an option to configure optional note fields
When adding answers to a Leganto question, it is possible to include a free text field in which additional information can be added. If such a free text field is configured, it becomes automatically mandatory. We have use cases in which we would need an optional note field, so that the instructor can decide if it is necessary to provide more information. Therefore, we would appreciate if a configuration option would be added in the Item Request Answer table which would allow the library to set the free text field optional or mandatory.

"Demand in other lists" should be visible in Leganto
"Demand in other lists" is a useful tool for librarians in Alma.
Some librarians work a lot in Leganto. It would make sense that users with librarian roles can see directly in Leganto which books are demanded in other lists, and which ones.13 votes -
Display Waiting for Approval Copyright Status in Citations
When viewing a citation in Leganto that is awaiting copyright approval, the status is not visible in the list or brief view. Users must open the full details and navigate to the item actions tab to see this information. Additionally, if a citation is incomplete, it shows as ‘Library is processing,’ which only reflects the citation status, not the copyright status.
Please add a visible indicator in the list and brief view of citations to show the ‘Copyright is waiting for approval’ status. The status should also be available as a filter in the list.
This enhancement would make it…

Export Leganto reading lists as PDF: add tags to the PDF for better accessibility
An accessible PDF must include document structure tags, which describe the logical and semantic structure of a document. This is important for screen readers and other assertive technologies to interpret and reproduce the content correctly.
Unfortunately, when a Leganto reading list is exported as PDF, the PDF does not include document structure tags. We hope that tags can be added and thus Leganto reading lists become accessible as PDFs too.13 votes -
The possibility of adding and removing tags in bulk from a citation result search
In Alma> citation search:
Sometimes you have several citations that need to have added or removed the same tag. Now, you need to open every single citation or run a job.
It would be a nice workflow if there was an action to tick-off and add a tag in bulk from the search result display just like we’re able to remove alerts in bulk.13 votes -
Can course codes information be sorted from newest to oldest when using Manage Course Association/Rollover a list
In Leganto, an instructor needs to look up a course when trying to ‘Manage course association’ or ‘Rollover’ a list to a course; however, the course codes information is listed in order from oldest to newest.
The sorting is inconvenient for them as, in most cases, instructors tend to locate the latest course. We think it will help the instructors if the course information should be default in the order from the most recent course.

View lists assigned to me in Leganto
When viewing lists in Leganto, it would be beneficial for library staff to easily see all the lists assigned to them in Alma along with an indicator or filter for lists that are incomplete. Currently, library staff see lists where they are the owner/collaborator, lists they've added to 'My lists' or they can search 'All lists', yet there is no way to know which lists have been assigned to them in Alma (nor which lists require attention). For ease of processing, there should be an option in Leganto for library staff to set the default view of lists assigned to…

Digitisation Approved Alert for Instructors
Feedback from Instructors has been that they would like an alert when a digitisation has been approved/goes live on the list (in our case, from a sync with the DCS). This would both enable instructors to know when the digitisation has gone live, and also enable them to query with the library when they have not received an alert (i.e. that the digitisation hasn't been made, or has been rejected). Alerts would ideally appear as one of the alert option dropdowns in the Leganto interface.

Ability to edit/streamline clipboard Leganto Task List
The current Leganto Task List includes items that are not tasks - they are completed. We'd like to be able to config/edit this display so that only actual tasks ie. 'processing' and 'ready for processing' are displayed.

Enable a forced SSO login for users accessing openly published reading lists Leganto via a CMS.
We publish all of our reading lists to "Anyone Full" which means that anyone with a link can access the list; we have partners or prospective students who may need to view the lists. Access to subscribed resources is restricted to registered users and anyone without a university login cannot access the links to resources, they can only view the citations.
Currently when students login to a reading list through Moodle, they automatically enter the list as a Guest and there is no prompt to login (unless you add a message to the list) which means that users may miss…

New general setting for enabling/disabling multiple lists per course
There's a general Leganto setting for multicourse_lists "Whether to enable multiple courses for reading lists: enabled, disabled."
We would like to add the converse option: enable/disable multi-list courses. By disabling multi-lists per course, only one list could be made for each course via the Leganto interface.
The reason we would like this is to allow instructors to create new lists via Leganto (rather than only by LTI) but not allow them to associate multiple lists per course as this has a negative impact on the embedded LTI view and the way that courses/lists display in the Primo VE full record…

Allow HTML in the new UI label 'copyright_clearance_header' (digitisation request form)
The digitisation request form (CLA) has a description field underneath the main header, called 'copyright _ clearance _ header' in the new UI labels. It would be helpful if HTML could be entered in this field to direct users to more information about digitisation services.

Configuration option to automatically remove tags depending on the citation status
Some tags in Leganto are only used to trigger or label library workflows, e.g. purchase requests and digitization. If a citation with such a tag is set to complete, the workflow is also completed, and the tag is therefore no longer required. At the moment, these tags can only be removed manually. We would like to have the option to configure that such tags are automatically removed when the citation is set to ‘Complete’ or another citation status defined by the library.

Auto publish option for instructor rollover
The new autopublishon_create functionality works when an instructor creates a new list from scratch in Leganto, but when they rollover it doesn't take effect.
This is counter-intuitive for us, since instructor rollover is precisely the situation where the library has previously seen the list so doesn't need to review it again.
Can instructor rollover be included in the scope of the autopublishon_create functionality?
Or even better, instead of a binary true/false setting, it could take a list of different situations so libraries can choose when they want auto-publish to take effect: eg new lists, instructor rollover,…

Add RefWorks as an export option to the favourites area
Currently there is no option to export items from favourites directly to RefWorks like you can from other citations. Our users would find this useful as we subscribe to RefWorks.
