Add Workflow Notes to Reading List Citation Slips
Currently, Reading list citation slips are not configured to include Workflow Notes, which means processing instructions are not included on the pull slips and that information must be retrieved separately. It would expedite reading list processing to have Workflow Notes included in these slips (which currently include basic bibliographic information, call number, and bar code).

Complete change log for reading lists
Our Instructors are in need of a feature that allow them to retrieve/view a complete change log for reading lists.
The feature ‘View recent changes’ is somewhat similar, but the feed currently only display changes made by others - not your own. It would be great if this feature were expanded to include all changes made on a list.
Being able to review all changes made to a reading list is not only useful for monitoring a list, it is also an important collaboration tool – primarily with fellow Instructors, but also e.g. when reviewing course material changes with faculty…

Add option to import citations in bulk to "Search the Library" and "Import References"
Currently, it is only possible to add one single citation at a time to a reading list when using "Search the Library" or "Import References from Zotero/from Mendeley". It would be very convenient if instructors could select multiples citations in the results list and import them in bulk into the reading list.

Suppress tags from specified citation material types
We would like to be able to hide certain tags from specific material types, for example hide our 'Digitisation request' tag from citations which are already available electronically.

Confirmation screen when adding citation to Leganto from Primo
When adding a catalog citation to Leganto from the Primo interface (via the "Send To..." menu) there is a small popup (screenshot attached) that asks the user to choose a list, section, etc. and then click the green "Add to Leganto" button, which is great. Once this button is clicked, the page reloads and the user receives no confirmation, other than to open a new tab, navigate to the relevant list, and verify that the citation appeared in the right place. Instead, once the user clicks "Add to Leganto," would it be possible to have a similarly sized pop up…

Hide locations from Resource Locate
Hide locations from Resource Locate
We would like an option to filter out specific locations for the resource locate functionality in Leganto.
For legal reasons we can't purge lost/discarded items, they have to remain in Alma where they are collected in locations that are suppressed from discovery so they don't show up in Primo. Unfortunately that doesn't exclude them from being used as positive results for resource locating even though they are not actually available.
We also have several collections that are not accessible to people but (some of them) show up in Primo. Those are also items we wouldn't…

Add PNX record to citation data
Troubleshooting Leganto links is more helpful when staff can understand where the record originates or is pulled from. Leganto allows staff members to search by PNX record ID and the Alma MMS ID. However, when broken links are reported, this information is not shared in the citation metadata.
Adding this data to the process would help ensure that staff can compare the correct items when troubleshooting broken links. While we know there is a citation origin field in Leganto Analytics, it would be more effective to go a step further and have an option like a bookmarklet that can be…

Automatic enrichment (update) of reading list citations
We are looking at using Rialto and ordering from Leganto looks to be a good option as Academics can place requests (Purchase requests) through the system. Ideally we would like the entry in Leganto to update the citation and status automatically once a bib is attached to the citation.

Link from course info to reading lists
Today for the two thousandth time(*) I've searched in Alma for a course and absent-mindedly clicked the course code link in order to get to the reading lists, then had to go back and get to them via the ... menu instead.
Reading lists have a "Courses" tab - can the course information page please have a "Reading lists" tab? Or even just a link from the sidebar to the "Course's Reading List " page.
(*) Conservative estimate.

Zotero/ Mendeley Import: Add option to select a folder/ a collection
In Zotero and Mendeley, users can organize their references in folders or collections. In Leganto, however, citations from reference management systems can only be imported at the library level (everything). Especially for users with extensive reference collections, it would be much clearer if a specific folder or a specific collection could be selected when importing citations into Leganto.

Add list reminder letter to Analytics
We use the Leganto list reminder letter in advance of each main teaching period to contact Unit Coordinators and ask them to submit their reading lists. We also report on the number of reading lists submitted compared to the number we communicated with. To do this, we manually keep a record of which courses we sent the list reminder letter for and match that to an analytics report. We would like the list reminder letter to be added to Analytics so that we can pull it as a field with other Course Reserves data. For example 'list reminder letter sent'…

Add link checker for instructors
When an instructor copies a reading list to use for another course/semester it would be nice the instructors to be able to run a link checker so dead links can be fixed before publishing the list.

Colour coding importance tags
Importance tags are an important way of indicating to students what their reading expectations are. We are encouraging list creators to reduce the number of sections in their lists and combine essential and background readings into single sections, using the importance tag. The tags are the same colour regardless of the criteria.
We would like to suggest a means of colour-coding tags so it is visually clearer to the student what the importance of a reading is, e.g., an essential reading could be customised with a green importance tag; a background could be customised with an orange importance tag. Each…

Re-associating courses to reading lists with digitisations
When there is digitisation on a list you cannot easily reassociate it to another string code if needed, the workaround is quite time-consuming involving editing the course in Alma and then doing the usual editing in the DCS.

Save a selection of Citation menu option as the default view
When entering Citation view to process current course reserves, you must first always select from the List Assigned to menu "Assigned to me" and then apply various other filters to limit the view to what needs to be processed. It takes time to apply each filter each time the citations list is accessed; allowing some filters to be "sticky" or default according to processor preference would save time when processing citation requests.

Multi Course Export
Leganto currently allows instructors the ability to export a single class list to Excel. We’re asking for an expansion of that ability to allow librarians and/or faculty to export lists from a set of multiple classes at once.
Use Cases:
Program Review, this would allow program chairs or deans to review materials in use across their student’s course of study. This would let them analyze their data to identify materials for update and understand when citations overlap to provide a top down view of their program.Instructor review, this would allow instructors to easily review the citations used in their…

Scheduling the dates of visibility of citations/attachments in NUI
We want to limit the dates between which citations or attachments can be viewed/downloaded. This is available in the classic interface but not in the new one.
It is usefulI when you (librarian or instructor) want to prepare the complete reading list at the beginning of the course, to set the dates on which citations/attachments will be made visible to users. This is good when your course works with case studies in a big way, for example.
In this situation, or similar, it is important because you are working with materials which students have to download and you don't want…20 votes -
Mass update on citations
For example, if you have a new edition, you have to go in to each citation individually and update it. It would be much easier if we could select the citations we needed and be able to do an update of them all of them at once.

Add number of comments in Library Discussion at citation level too
The Library Discussion at list level currently shows the number of comments in it from the list view. It would be useful to have the same functionality for the Library Discussion at citation level too

Clear indication for print or electronic resources from other institutions
Since the June 2024 release it is indicated in the Leganto UI if another institution in a multi-campus environment has physical or electronic holdings. Unfortunately, Leganto users can only see in Primo whether it is a print or an electronic resource. In the Leganto UI, the same icon and the same labeling are used for both. As our users usually have no access to electronic resources from other institutions, it would be an important improvement for them to become able to clearly recognize them immediately in Leganto and not only after many clicks in Primo.
The print screen shows the…20 votes
