Notes added in Alma to default to 'Library' type (rather than 'Instructor')
Notes added in Alma are likely to be for internal use only for Library staff. It would therefore be useful for the note type to default to 'Library' rather than 'Instructor'.

Hide or customise the top and bottom sections of the quick start wizard.
We want instructors to focus in the middle section to create lists. The top section is too broad, instructors have to scroll down to get to the main functionality. The bottom section is irrelevant especially the gif, we can't even change it

Free text space above File Upload Copyright options in Leganto
Currently, in the front end of Leganto, there is no free text space above the File Copyright Upload options. Please see attached screenshot.
It would be good user experience if there is the option to add some free text there otherwise it's just a series of options without an explanation of what they are.

File Upload Copyright options to be visible when loading on the screen
When a reading list creator uploads a file into a reading list, the File Upload Copyright options are not all immediately visible. If there is more than three, it is necessary to scroll down to see the rest of them.
It would be preferable if all File Upload Copyright options could be visible when the sections loads.

Display Instructor's name along with list title and code in search.
This is a very simply display improvement. Students looking for lists from searchlists often want to find their list by instructor name. Sometimes they will browse by department, or try to find their course amongst other sections and there is no indication of who the list instructor is from the brief list record. Even if they search by that name, they may misspell it and still have to and have to click through to open the course to be assured they have the right list. Adding it with the code at the bottom of the display would be a useful…

Show accurate total of books in stock
The Alma side of Leganto uses the number of copies of a book in total but unlike Primo, does not ignore books marked as 'lost' or 'missing'. Would it be possible for Leganto to show the current total of books in stock (either available or on loan) without any missing/lost ones?

Ability to configure name of library staff for display in Library Discussion
When notes are posted in Library Discussion, the full name of the user displays. We would like to be able to configure how we display staff names (for example, first names only).

Add a Session Timeout URL config in Legnato
Add an option in Leganto configuration where we can specify a "Session Timeout URL" so it is not just dependent on Alma settings. This variable is available in Primo. Since this is a student facing interface, it would be good to be able to configure this feature.

Add course adds/drops to the user record history in Alma
When you look at a user record in Alma, you can see the list of courses they are enrolled in. However, the user record's "history" tab doesn't include changes to their course enrollments. Having that history would be useful in troubleshooting access to course materials for individuals – you'd be able to see what they have been enrolled in, as well as when they might have lost access to a given course, for example.

Being able as an instructor to see all reading lists attached to a specific course
As an instructor, it might be useful to search for a course (whether it is the instructor's courses or a collaborator's courses) to obtain the list of all related reading lists of that specific course. Right now, in the Instructor page, the search for course name will only list the reading list that the instructor has already created, or followed. Thanks

Add an 'Undo' button to Leganto UI
Instructors would appreciate this, especially when they first start using the system.

Allow tags to be added in Cite It
Would it be possible to assign tags to citations directly from the Cite It window, rather than having to locate them in Leganto and tag afterwards?

'Add new title to section' button - float in long sections
Some lists have long sections. It would be very helpful not to have to scroll up through long sections to get to the 'Add new title to section' button. Would it be possible to make this button 'float' so that it is visible wherever you are in a list section. This would improve the list navigation experience for instructors and creators.

Add events (citation modifications, etc) by library staff to Leganto Instructor Usage Events subject area in Analytics
Currently the Leganto Instructor Usage Events subject area only identifies events created by list collaborators. At our institution, library staff are also responsible for making modifications to lists and citations (for example, adding tags), however these actions are not displayed as 'events' on analyses created in this subject area.
As previously discussed with Ex Libris (see SF 00523008), it would be useful for our workflows if both instructor and library staff events could display in this subject area (perhaps under separate descriptors).

Remove an individual user from all courses/lists where they are an instructor/owner
This is only currently possible as a bulk process using the reading list 'Remove all owners' job, or by using the course uploader. This is inefficient in cases where an individual member of staff leaves or is no longer teaching on a specified module and therefore needs to be manually removed as a list owner / course instructor.

Resource locate to default to "OR"
It would be useful if "Locate Citation by Fields" could be configured so that only one enabled field needs to have an exact match, i.e. the resource locate defaults to "OR" rather than "AND" where more than one citation metadata field is populated.
This would allow citations to be matched where a title is misspelled, but an ISBN is correct, or vice versa.

Customisable text box in Leganto UI to provide library contact details
We would like the option for a library enquiry email address and phone number to be visible on all screens in the Leganto UI. A customisable text box could be added to the bottom left corner of the screen with this information.

Hide instructors ability to restrict access to reading lists based on time intervals
In Leganto, instructors have a lot of opportunities to restrict access to the reading list by setting specific time intervals where resources are visible. This includes separate settings for entire reading lists, sections, citations and uploaded material. We have received reports from our libraries that these functions are sometimes used incorrectly by the instructors. The instructors often do not grasp all the consequences of using these features and end up causing these resources to become unavailable at inopportune times and not knowing why. For instance, an instructor might set the reading list to be visible from August 10th – December…

Searching or refining a search with publication year
The citation search in Leganto has been significantly improved with the material type facets.
But it could be made even more efficient and userfriendly with the possibility to search or filter by publication year.
Some publications such as reports have the same title and the time of publication is a good way to differentiate between them and/or easier to remember than a DOI.4 votes
