Allow instructors to set a course as deliberately having no reading list
After the Jan 2023 release, a course can be marked as deliberately having no reading list in Alma (NERS 2022 #7744).
However there is no way for instructors to set this flag by themselves which would be a logical and convenient way of adding this information which the Library itself would not necessarily know itself from year-to-year or term to term.
It would also allow the Library to promote the flagging of courses as not requiring a list each year.
Instead, instructors have to contact the Library to set it on their behalf which creates extra work.
We would like there to be an option available on the CMS entry page (the LTI landing page which prompts the creation of a list for a course) so that academics can set the course as deliberately having no reading list there. It could also be flagged when creating a list from My Lists.
This functionality is a missing element of the NERS 7744 feature as it does not allow instructors to flag the information to the library (and their students). See also: https://ideas.exlibrisgroup.com/forums/395697-leganto/suggestions/46304143-change-the-message-students-see-when-clicking-an-l

I think this would be a good further enhancement to NERS 7744. It would be good to be able to mark the list as no reading from the landing place in the VLE
