New UI - please allow institutions to customise the 'Add item' menu.
We want to be able to hide 'Import References' from the 'Add item' menu. Support have advised that this is not currently possible.

Especially with the Import Course Materials in its current location I noticed some confusion by librarians and faculty when they are trying to add a number of citations through the AI Syllabus Assistant - would like to disable / hide Import References

We would like to remove "Manual Entry" as our faculty are not searching our catalog and creating unnecessary purchase requests (we have a separate form that handles purchase requests).

It would be great to be able to customise what options show and don't show in this menu, in general.

Yes, we'd also like to remove the "Upload files" option since "Manual entry" is absolutely sufficient for our purposes. There more options there are, the more choice paralysis there is for lecturers and they get confused, so it's useful to be able to streamline the menu to only show the options that are relevant to the institution.

Yes please - we also don't want instructors to import references so this would be really helpful.

Allow to enable or disable menu items in the Add Item Menu. It is possible to edit the section, citation and list menu but not the add item menu.
