Allow for the ability to configure whether the "Import references" option appears at "Add" option in a Reading List.
We do not wish to expose the "import references" option when the "Add" option is chosen in a Reading List - this should be configurable as to whether a customer exposes this feature or not. We created a case (08053103) re same to which Support responded stating that "Currently, there is no option to hide the Import References from the Add menu".

Allow bulk ReadingList creation with the AI Syllabus Assistant
It's exciting to learn about the newly launched AI Syllabus Assistant, which can automatically generate reading lists and show items' statuses. Since there's a need for Library to generate many reading lists at once, is it possible to use this AI feature to bulk-create reading lists for multiple courses by uploading a folder containing course synopsis documents? Or API could be offered to connect data from external sources?

Cite It support for Browns Books
Please could you add Browns Books (https://www.brownsbfs.co.uk) as a supported website for Cite It? It is one of our main book suppliers in the UK, and it would be helpful to be able to cite books directly from their website.

New analytics criteria: count of number of sections
Currently analytics provides information about the order of sections in a Leganto list, but we just want a simple count of how many sections there are in each list

Export Leganto reading lists as PDF: add tags to the PDF for better accessibility
An accessible PDF must include document structure tags, which describe the logical and semantic structure of a document. This is important for screen readers and other assertive technologies to interpret and reproduce the content correctly.
Unfortunately, when a Leganto reading list is exported as PDF, the PDF does not include document structure tags. We hope that tags can be added and thus Leganto reading lists become accessible as PDFs too.14 votes -
Highlight Open Access and peer reviewed material on reading lists with the Primo logos
Students and staff can see the Open Access logo and the peer view logo in Primo but they can't see the logos on the same resource once it's been added to Leganto. Please enable libraries to choose whether these logos can be pulled into Leganto with the resource details. The University of Sheffield is doing some work around open resources and promoting OER and it would be good to be able to highlight open resources on the reading list for students and staff. I hope the picture helps.

Add purchase request to «Library Services”
At our institution, the instructors have difficulties figuring out how to make a purchase request. We use Leganto questions to make it easier for them, but this works only for some of the ways you can add items in Leganto. Our users assume that the purchase request is in the same location as the digitization request, i.e. under “Library Services” in the “Item actions” tab and as prominent link when the brief view of a citation is open (see print screen), but without instructions it does not occur to them that they have to set a tag for the purchase…

Deactivate filters in “lists” area and filters related to citations inside the lists
We would like to have the possibility to deactivate filters in “lists” area and filters related to citations inside the lists.
Some of these types of filters are not relevant for us.For Examples:
CITATION FILTERS:
- DUE DATE: no due date in our workflows. Once published, lists and citations have to be always available to our patrons.
- STATUS: citation status are related to the activities carry out by librarians, instructors don’t need to see them
LIST FILTERS:
- COURSE STATUS: the distinction between active and inactive course is not relevant for us
- LIST TYPE: we automatically create…45 votesPlanned for Q3 2026

Rollover - Allow Excel files to be directly uploaded to course loader integrated profile
Currently we have to create a spreadsheet for a course rollover, then re-format it into text tab delimited file and then add it to a FTP server before it can be run in the course loader integrated process. This is a long winded process where errors can creep in.
It would be an improvement if you could upload the file directly in the Course loader integrated profile as a file upload. It would also be better if this upload could be an Excel spreadsheet rather than a text tab delimited file

Add MARC field 240 as a new field in Leganto
We have several records representing e-books, which are published as e-books (much) later than when the same content was published as a printed book. The printed book may be published in 2007, the same e-book in 2019, and even if both dates are recorded in the 008-field of the record, this information is not displayed in Leganto. Only the actual publishing year (in our example 2019) is visible to the user. It makes it look like a newer edition, which it is not.
Ex: https://bibsys-k.alma.exlibrisgroup.com/leganto/readinglist/citation/14473946130002204?institute=47BIBSYS_UBO&auth=SAMLOur case was closed last time (#05336252) but we are now moving to RDA standards,…

Make the workflow-note deletable
At the moment there is no way to get rid of the workflow-note created by Leganto Questions. Neither by hand nor via job.
Ex Libris told us that this is by design, but to us this creates issues as we can't create "to do" reports in Analytics based on a note we can't delete after the job was done.
It also does not improve the already cluttered 'Edit Citations' screen.
Additionally it is possible to delete the corresponding tag (Citation > Edit > Tags > Tag type: Workflow) which contradicts the "by design" statement.
We are therefore asking Ex Libris…
