Customize and/or hide out-of-the-box publishing statuses
The publishing statuses are many and confusing.
An institution rarely uses more than two. We would like to be able to:
- hide the irrelevant statuses, to avoid them being selected by librarian and instructors
- customize the names of the statuses to make them clearer.Use case: one of our institutions decided on a specific status for all faculties/departments, with the exception of one department that wants lists to be more restricted. The publishing status for this specific department could be customized with the department name.

Increase the number of page range fields for Book Extract citation type
Colleagues whose day job involves working with Leganto have expressed interest in being able to add more page range fields for the Book Extract citation type.
At the moment there are only two page range fields that can be made use of, which use these types:
• Start Page
• Start Page2
• End Page
• End Page2We would like to be able to add at least 4 page ranges, so have these field types available also:
• Start Page3
• End Page3
• Start Page4
• End Page4Thank you for your consideration!

Keep deleted citation records in the system
When we remove a citation record the system delete it without any historical information.
It would be very useful to mantain the information about the deleted citations (and be able to collect this information with Analytics, as is currently the case with bibliographic records) to perform tasks on the documents physically, like changing items location or removing stickers...
53 votesWe will do this as part of the NERS 2024 request to provide an undo option for deleted citations. The information about deleted citations will be preserved but for a limited amount of time.

Enable set-creation for citations, reading lists, and courses
At the moment, creating sets for Leganto to run jobs on is a pain - contratry to other indices in Alma you can't just click 'Save Query' and then run a job on the set.
No, you have to create a list either from an Excel export or Analytics and then create an itemized set from it.This is extremely annoying because you have to create a new input list and a new set every time you need to run a job.
Please enable the creation of (logical) sets for citations, reading lists, and courses from a search in Alma…
