Keep deleted citation records in the system
When we remove a citation record the system delete it without any historical information.
It would be very useful to mantain the information about the deleted citations (and be able to collect this information with Analytics, as is currently the case with bibliographic records) to perform tasks on the documents physically, like changing items location or removing stickers...
We will do this as part of the NERS 2024 request to provide an undo option for deleted citations. The information about deleted citations will be preserved but for a limited amount of time.

When an instructor delete a citation, librarians can see through Analytics that a citation has been deleted, but we don't know which one.
We need to know which ones have been deleted in order to manage them:
----For physical items---- make some changes in labels, stickers or change location.
----For electronic items (e-books, e-journals, case studies...)---- if it is viable to unsubscribe.
Thank you and sorry for the late reply. This message was not read until today.

Hi,
Can you explain on which conditions you use this functionality? And which problem will it solve?
We would appreciate gaining a clearer understanding of the need before deciding on the proposed idea.Thank you for being involved,
