Make Relevancy Ranking values available
To assist with the fine-tuning of Field Boosting, provide a way of showing the values of the rankings of search results.
I.e. When a search is performed, for each hit make its total ranking value viewable either
- to users,
- in a comment in the page's source HTML, or
- by amending that items URL (similar to &showPnx=true).8 votes -

advanced search in new UI
The advanced search is not available for mobile devices (screenwidth below 960px). Actually you can link to the andvanced search but it is not very usable, as the layout needs to be improved for small screen devices.

Add *before* directives in the new UI
While it's great that the new UI includes directives for us to target when we do customizations, we're generally limited to only putting things AFTER what we may want to manipulate. It would be good to have an easier way to inject our customizations before.
For example, I'd like to place some helper text before our Online Access tab on some items based on the PNX. Right now, I have to put the message below and then do some DOM manipulation. I'd prefer to avoid the DOM manipulation altogether.

Dynamically replace spaces with underscores in Primo generated URLs
Currently, URLs generated while using Primo can result in broken URLs based on the presence of spaces in information such as library names. A good solution would be to program Primo to dynamically replace spaces with underscores, resulting in non-broken URLs when doing things like copy/pasting into an email.

Add Back Office funtionality to change colour of calculated availability link text
In the Primo back office, the calculated availability text code table has lines to control the colour of the availability icons that display in the old UI (default.delivery.class)
As the icons have gone from the new UI, we want to be able to easily change the colour of the text of the availability message without having to resort to CSS hacks or trying to put tags around existing lines in this code table.
We need to be able to change colours easily to meet our accessibility obligations as an institution

[Primo] - allow to set up a default view, i.e. the landing view for the user when view ID is missing or mistyped
Right now the 'default' view in Primo is the 'out of the box' view, named 'default', which is normally used as template by user for creating the View actually in use. And that's fine.
But the customer should be allowed to define which view sahll be used as default View in the Primo instance. Current feature "Session timeout URL" is not enough.
- In case for example of mistyping the URL, the system leads to the 'default/otb' view.
- If a View is deleted but a user has a bookmark, again the system leads to the 'default/otb' view.It should…

Add 583 data from holding record to Primo GetIt tab
Currently, Primo can be configured to display additional holdings information in the GetIt tab: 867, 868, 561$a$u$3, 563$a$u$3, 541$a$b$c$d, and 852$t. We would like to also display the 583 $u and $z. 583 is a note about an action taken (in the past or future) on the holdings, and $z is a public note. Examples of 583 notes would be decisions to move to storage, dates of digitization, use in exhibits, decisions to discard or retain, etc. Since $z is a public note, we would like Primo to support displaying the public note.
Our particular use case is to display…

Reinstate ability to customize header/footer HTML and no results HTML file functionality in New Primo UI
Would like to reinstate the ability to customize header/footer html files as well as the ability to customize the no results html file in the Primo New UI please. In the Old UI, you could customize and upload these files individually. You cannot customize any of them in the New UI, even if included in the customization package html folder. Would like to have those files included in the customization manager.
We would like this ability because some code needs to run first (which case it would be included in the header) or last (when you would include it in…

Add Library pre-filter to Primo VE Advanced Search
It would be helpful if users could pre-scope their search to a particular library in the advanced search, rather than waiting to filter with the post-search facets.

Block free text input functon in Resource Sharing Form
When users request items with multiple volumes in the resource sharing form (NERS Enhancement - Request ID #4856), they can select a specific volume from the pull down list, also freely enter the volume information in the box. Errors of manual input may lead to in inefficient or failure of handling the requests, e.g. user input “1” in the text box instead of selecting “v.1” from the list, the request can be created successfully, but the description cannot be shown in “Borrowing Requests” of Borrowing Library or “Pick from the shelf” of Lending Library, the libraries need to spend extra…

Add enabling/disabling OpenURL as option in Direct Linking Configuration
Some libraries (like mine) would appreciate the ability to disable direct linking for incoming OpenURL searches while enabling direct linking for other functions (such as direct linking from results list). We would like this flexibility because we find that direct linking from the results list saves the time of our users, but direct linking from incoming OpenURL searches is more confusing. We don't want to have to turn off direct linking altogether to help solve this confusion, but have no choice with current settings. Other libraries may desire the opposite settings: disabling direct linking from results list but enabling for…

Adding fields to purchase form
Currently the purchase form in Primo has a limited number of fields. We want to see the class/course name and professor and campus name as fields so we can better plan collection development.

Enable the addition of referencing style to the results list by email
In Summon, you can select the format of your results list before emailing it to yourself or another person. Eg. You want to view your search results in APA format, or AGLC, etc., and also have the link sent to you for each item in the list.
This functionality would be a great addition to Primo VE.

Allow Local Fields as filters for NZ Search Scopes
When setting up a custom scope we found the "Local fields" option was not available in the dropdown list if we choose scope population "Entire Network".
The "Local fields" option is available in the dropdown list if we choose scope population"My Institution".We think the "Local fields" option should be available for scope population "Entire Network" as well because we can set up up to 10 local search fields in the NZ and they would be used in the scope definition.
This would allow consortia to exclude specific resources from the NZ scopes based on values in the NZ local…

Improved Support of multilingual elements for external data sources in Primo VE
For Dublin Core and Generic XML records that contain multilingual content, Primo VE should display the values of the associated fields according to the user's language when the language code is available as an attribute in the Dublin Core elements.
For instance:

My Favorites load automatially as user scrolls down
In a recent student survey we had feedback that users would like their complete list of Favorites to be more accessible and visible. In particular, users requested that instead of choosing 'Load more results' after every ten My Favorites, that their My Favorites list auto-loaded as they scrolled down the page.
