Request from pickup in different library only - not working when the item is on loan or in trasit
One our library has a library box which they want to use as primary location for pickup for physical item requests. I created a new library for the box, I set the apropriate relationships between the library and the box. I also created special Fulfillment Unit where I selected the option "Request from pickup in different library only" as on shelf request policy. But the setting "Request from pickup in different library only" is working only in case when the item is not on loan or in transit. When the item is on loan or in transit and other patron wants to place request then there are 2 pickup locations instead of one - the library box and also the library. Currently Alma does not support restricting pickup locations to a single option. While the "Request from pickup in different library only" setting works for items that are on shelf, Alma does not enforce the same behaviour for items that are checked out. We would like to change it. Alma should always offer only another library in case when FU is set to "Request from pickup in different library only". Alma shouldn't behave differently in case when item is on loan or in transit.
