    We also have significant problems with the existing pickup TOU, and it represents lost functionality from Aleph. We would really love to see this progress.

    This would be a big help to our institution as well. Frequently, we receive news that older / emeritus faculty have passed who may have hundreds of items checked out. Library staff will usually work with a family contact to come retrieve materials, but sometimes that may take months to complete, and in the meantime, we do not want any overdue or lost notices to be sent out, or any fines to be accrued.

    I'll add that we would want this to be restricted only to user administrators and be something that could be reported on as a field in Analytics.

    There's a "reading list citation update task" that can be run on citation sets that can do at least some things (like adding and removing tags).

    Duke would also like this feature. We have patrons with preferred names and would want this to be in place so they are addressed as they want to be called.
