Ordering of references in folders compared to in Bibliography
Please can it be made possible to order references in a folder in the same order as a bibliography.
I wanted to view the references in a Refworks folder in the same order that they were supplied by the bibliography function.
I tried ordering them in the folder by "publication date" but this didn't seem to provide the same order.1 vote -

Quick cite
On the old Refworks, one can easily search for multiple references across folders, insert them in the pop up and paste over to inside the body of the document being worked on, and then upload the document to format both the in-text citations and create a final reference list. However, this functionality appears lost in the new Refworks - the pop-up quick cite does not display all references but only 50 at a time, and when one needs to select multiple references to insert as citations and scrolls to the next page, the references copied on the previous pages disappear.…

Optionally avoid deduplication when a criterion is void
While deduplicating it can happen that RefWorks suggests large numbers of candidate duplicates because one of the chosen criteria is void, e.g. I choose "title/ISSN/page number" and RefWorks suggests a large number of totally unrelated records just because they all lack the page number - this is taken by the algorithm as "match succeeded". Since this behavior could be sometimes useful, there should be an option "also match void criteria" to choose when it is deemed useful by the user.

Be able to merge duplicate references
I think it would be very useful that when Refworks detects duplicates, these references can be merged. In addition to could choose what information save from each of them. Sometimes the firsth reference has the DOI but not the pdf, second reference has the pdf but does not have author information correctly entered, etc.

Make "This is an electronic source" Bulk edit available
Records imported from some databases sometimes have a check in "This is an electronic source" even if they are from the printed version. I would like to be able to edit this check in the bulk edit.

Add 'starts with' option for bulk edit/replace
This would be useful for managing DOIs; DOIs may be imported with no linking prefix or with an out-dated linking prefix and may also pick up unwanted information such as a proxy component to links. Currently bulk edit allows for the removal of outdated and unwanted elements with confidence. This then leaves a basic DOI. A 'starts with' bulk edit option would make it easier to add in the correct prefix only where it is wanted.
This is preferable to using a referencing style to add in the prefix (EG APA 7th - Sentence Casing, DOI: https://doi.org/) as this…

Citation in text with continuous notes (ISO 690) used in books
I would like to see RCM (Refworks Citation Manager) incorporate the option to use numerical citation with continuous notes, which is widely used in books. As permitted by Standard ISO 690
"The numbers inserted in the text (in parentheses, brackets or superscripts) refer to notes, numbered according to the order of appearance in the text. Notes may contain references to cited resources. If there are several citations of the same resource, they will be given separate note numbers. "
Now it isn´t possible

Reference editing - Increase the sidebar window size
My suggestion is for the referenced editing sidebar window. Can we increase the size of this side window? Why not give the user more room to see and view what they are editing? I know for myself, I'd like to have the ability to increase or decrease the width of the edit sidebar window.

Include ISSN/ISBN in Publication admin analytics
Add ISSN/ISBN column to the reports when downloaded. This will better enable librarians to use this data to analyze their collections, a common reason for having these reports at all. This may cause splintering of counts if users imported different ISNs for the same title (especially print vs e) but it would be worth that side effect to have the data. If you can provide separate print and e columns that would be ideal.

Add NCBI abbreviations for AMA 11th edition
Abbreviation of journals in accordance with NCBI https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/nlmcatalog/journals/ is inconsistent for AMA 11th edition format. Sometimes the generated citations have abbreviated titles and other times they don't.

Provide a RefWorks citation format that will be able to be used by any software
It would be very useful if there was a way to have a RefWorks citation format for every reference so that we can use them in any software besides MS Word (e.g. MS Powerpoint, Obsidian, Notepad).
Example: I want to organize my research ideas in Obsidian software. Next to each idea, I want to keep (shortly) the references that are related to each idea as kept in Refworks. I don't mind about the citation style. All I want, is a short unique Refworks citation of my references that will link to the actual reference to the Refworks library.
Then, when…

RefWorks Statistics - referencing/citation style being used
If possible please include stats on what referencing/citation style our users are using in refworks (and if possible in WnC).
Reasons : to help us have a better idea of what our users are actually using and catch those areas using other styles that we are aware of.
