The default setting for book imports is for electronic books and it is, in my experience, not apparent to users until an inaccurate bibliography is created.

The old RefWorks version had an option to open the reference in pubmed, that option is not there with the updated ProQuest version? I need to use the update view since google docs and word docs do not link to the old version. I would like a link so I can directly open a reference in pubmed again, please.17 votes

When viewing references they can be sorted by Date Added, Date Published, Author, Title and more. Sorting references when viewing search results is currently being evaluated.

The RefWorks Citation Manager add-in always defaults to the “All references” folder after choosing an action. For example, if I go to a different folder and choose to “Edit & Cite” for one of the citations, it then toggles back to the All references folder instead of staying in the folder I had been using. This requires me to keep re-selecting the folder where I had accumulated sources for a project.
For workflow, it would be useful to have RefWorks Citation Manager default to folder last used instead of to All References.15 votes

RefWorks keeps defaulting back to 50 per page. I have to keep changing it back and have sometimes only edited/moved 50 references before I realized it had defaulted back and that the rest weren't displayed. Please also stop defaulting to sorting by date added or normal view instead of what I had changed it to. I set it a certain way for a reason and it should stay the way we set it.

Sort by and View type are remembered by RefWorks; we will do the same for number of references per page in a future release.
If a tag has a typo or I realize it needs more or less nuance, if would be nice to edit the names of tags instead of just creating a new tag. Creating replacement tags means redundancies or duplicates when I look at the list of tags. Thanks.9 votes

We can deactivate accounts as admin, but we are unable to delete them. Admins should be able to delete accounts.
