Improvement request for Removed Titles report
If titles are removed to make a zero title database, the information does not appear in the Removed Titles report.
Example)
https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/360_KB/Knowledge_Articles/360_KB%3A_American_Society_for_Microbiology_Journals_Database%3A_ TitlesWillBeRemoved--September2022Therefore, I must constantly check 360KB News to be aware of any title removal.
I would like that information to appear in the Removed Titles report.0 votes -
Add an option to limit "Print resource"
Summon has the refinement to filter the results to print books. We need an option to limit "Print resource" (not only book, but also, print journals, microfilms ...).
Especially, Print journal is important for the customer Summon over Alma, since former ILS had it.8 votes -
Remove double separator for more identifiers (hardcoded)
Remove double separator when the bib record has more same identifiers:
I.E.: for two ISBN, Summon display the separator ;,
ISBN 0521451639;, ISBN 0521466903 (pbk.)The display of the identifiers in the Summon Over Alma services page is hard coded by design, so it is not possible to modify the display of the delimiter in the Brief record.

Allow merging of duplicate metadata records for newspaper articles prior to January 1, 2000.
I reported a case of 12 metadata records for the same NYT newspaper article. Search: "carmichael oregon high desert"
This was the response from support:
Records with the resource type "newspaper articles" from before January 1, 2000 - CANNOT MERGE.
Unfortunately it seems that CDI is currently not designed to provide the functionality described.
The next step is to pursue this as an enhancement.3 votes -
Add the ability to reorder locations in Real Time Availability Results
Real time availability results display only one available location in the search results and the location name is in alphabetical order. We would like to order those locations so that our circulating collection locations appear first. Right now Archives (which is non-circulating) location displays first and users don't notice the arrow to click to see other locations/copies we have available. They often give up and assume we don't have the item in our main circulating collection. When users limit a search to a specific circulating location, but the results that appear say they are in Archives it is confusing.

Ebook Usage Report
We can see e-Journal usage by title on 360 usage report but for e-Books, we only see Database lebel usage.
It would be better if we can check e-Books title lebel usage.6 votes -
Option to rename CSL citation styles in admin console
At this moment, the name of citation styles provided by RefWorks can be changed in Translataions tab in Summon Admin Console.
As we can now load citation sytles from CSL styles repository, it would be great if library can customize the name of the CSL styles as well.style as well.8 votes -
client center
The Client Center staff-side user interface needs to be updated. It looks and functions almost the the same as it did when we first used Serials Solutions in 2004. It's slow and fails accessibility testing.

[360 Core & 360 Link] ISSN / ISBN search enhancement request
For EJP and 360 Link, ISSN & ISBN search is availavle only when the ISSN & ISBN are included on Title Metadata.
But there are many title's metadata which have only eISSN / eISBN even if title data of each DB has the pISSN / pISBN.
*Sometimes Title Metadata doesn't have any ISSN/ISBN.On Client Center, we can find titles by searching pISBN even if title metadata doesn't have pISBN.
I think same specification is better on EJP and 360 Link.13 votes -
Make use of BL or LC Name Authority Headings
Users would like to be able to differentiate between authors of the same name when searching Summon, using the Name Authority headings already available in the BL or LC catalogues/name authority indexes:
https://lccn.loc.gov/n2007182995
HEADING: Kelly, Daniel, 1959-They can do this in our library catalogue, and expect the same in Summon

"Time Period" facet / filter > needs Reverse Alpha Sort
The "Time Period" facet / filer has sorts by numeric occurrence and by alphabetical sort; however, since many of the terms in the subfield are dates, the ability to find current dates requires you to scroll through way too many entries, since it begins with 1 AD. Request to provide a Reverse Alpha Sort (most recent - call it what you may) - so that users can on demand begin with the current era and work backwards.

User defined facet
Please add the feature "User defined facet".
As Summon over Alma user, we feel current default facets sometimes are not enough to filter library records. For exmaple, there is no way to filter Print Journal. If Summon prepares "User difined facet", we can provide the detailed library records via Summon to our patrons.3 votes -
Support subscriptions with embargoes or rolling cutoff dates
Right now, if a database collection you subscribe to includes journal date ranges like "to X years ago" Summon/CDI doesn't recognize the cut off date and simply includes the whole subscription up to present in your search index even though the articles are not accessible. When you click a link, it's up to the content provider to determine how to handle the incoming link. ProQuest Research Library, for instance, will not even show you the citation record, but a search error instead. Ideally, CDI would be intelligent enough to handle these rolling cutoff dates and only include recent articles as…

Integrate Summon with Sierra for Live Catalog Updates and Deletes
Instead of sending the daily updates/deletes in Sierra catalog, having a process that preform this task instantly will improve the search results immediately and will free library staff to do other pending tasks

KBART exporting of 360 collections
We have the ability to import KBART files into 360 but lack the ability to export collections data in the KBART format. As a result, when libraries need our collections as KBART files we must map the 360 export to a KBART template. Allowing for KBART exporting would simplify this.

Would love to be able to search the Summon Idea Exchange by date of submission of the idea! What's new!?
Would love to be able to search the Summon Idea Exchange by date of submission? Possible? What's the latest hot enhancements from say, the last three months rather than the last three years?
