Make integration with Alma more seamless in regard to the PCI and Link Resolver
When we activate our Link Resolver databases in Alma, we have to do it all over again in the Primo PCI. This is redundant effort. Yes, it is one time, but new libraries have enough else to do to configure the system and this seems like an unnecessary step.

Add the 'until' argument to OAI-PMH pipe configuration
When creating a pipe to harvest using OAI, we can currently set the 'from' date but not an 'until' date. When harvesting from a large repository, this means we have to collect the whole set in one go - which may be a problem for Primo and/or the repository. We would prefer to process, say, three months data at a time.

Add configuration option for displaying time as military or non-military
Libraries should be able to choose whether to display time as military or non-military, based on local preference. It would be optimal if there was a per-view configuration option for making this choice.

Consortia environment; Provide inheritance for open access collections
At present, open access collections that are activated by the consortia account are not "inherited" by individual members of the consortium. Given the number of open access collections, and the possible number of consortia members, it can be a tedious task to activate a large number of OA collections for each member.
We would like to see that OA collections can be "inherited" as well, just like regular subscription collections.6 votes -
Check for physical copies between data sources
Currently records harvested from local sources (e.g. Dspace) can not crosswalk to records from Alma. This means that a patron who finds a record from dspace for a dissertation can not determine if the dissertation is held as a physical copy using the find it tab in Primo.
For example, see http://searchit.lib.ksu.edu/KSUD:Entire_Library_Collection:01KSU_DSPACE2097/18531
The view it tab works, but the Check for Physical Copy times out because Primo's code is not set up to support checking for physical copies from sources other than Primo Central.
I request that the code be enhanced to support this discoverability.

Sort date of FRBR groups in date-sorted results lists
When sorting a brief results list by date, obviously always the sort date of the earliest member of a FRBR group is taken to represent the whole group. We would expect that in sort order "year (ascending)" the publication date of the earliest member record is taken, and in sort order "year (descending)" the publication date of the latest member.

Sort loans by "Due date--earliest" and "Due date--latest"
Under the “loans” section in Primo user accounts, two of the most important sort options are labelled “Due date--newest” and “Due date--oldest”.
“New” and “old” isn't how folks usually describe due dates (correct me if I'm wrong). Rather, you talk about what's due sooner/earlier and what's due later.
Could Primo either allow institutions to customise the labels, or relabel the sorting options as “Due date--earliest” and “Due date--latest”, or some such contrast (closest/farthest)?

Display virtual browse by shelf mark as default (without mouse-over)
The new PRIMO Ui virtual browse has changed the display of the shelf mark information. You need to do a mouse-over to see the shelf mark. The suggestion is to make shelf mark display as default (as in the old UI), publication year as an option in back office or maybe have both shelf mark and publication year on different rows (without mouse-over solution).
1. Will all users understand it’s a mouse-over solution here?
2. Will all users be able to display the shelf mark with mouse-over? Compatible with all major web browsers? The mouse over doesn’t work in Safari…6 votes -
Smarter grouping of Primo Central records
If there is several records in Primo Central for the same article and all but one have the same metadata Primo should not choose to group on the one that differs.

Ensure a title level general hold request only activates a request on the relevant holdings and campus for correctly affilated patrons.
This crosses Alma and Primo but it surfaces as an issue for us mostly in Primo.
Currently general hold requests are not checked against terms of use. So Primo/Alma applies the request to all holdings regardless of whether the patron can borrow the item or not.
As an institution with two distinct campuses (NHS and University) we have issues with requests where some of the holdings have no items attached.
For example we have a journal that has holdings at several libraries at both the NHS and Cardiff University campuses. Some of these holdings do not have any items attached.…6 votes -
Give us a way to brute force boosting any record in Alma with a local field
We have to break the rules of cataloging to add fields to get certain important titles that should ALWAYS be first in a relevance sort to show up at the top. Give us a local field to use in a bib record to always ensure a boost to the top (similar to what we can do to "top" a particular collection to offer in direct linking).

Don’t reload the app when clicking ‘new search’!
Instead of reloading the entire primo-explore app, we would like to wipe the search query and search results without reloading the app. This would improve mobile experience and also speed responsiveness for the desktop version.

Allow the list of items in Favorites to be "printed" as a PDF file
Primo lacks a lot of functionality for printing - most modern data systems allow output of PDF files. This would enhance output on both traditional computers and portable devices.

Implement "Scheduled report to FTP server" feature for Primo Analytics
We would like to request for "Scheduled report to FTP server" feature to be implemented for Primo Analytics, so we could schedule the Primo data in Power BI Reports/Dashboards to be automatically refreshed.
Power BI is the enterprise solution for data visualisation in UNSW. Currently Ex Libris does not seem to support the connection between Analytics (OBIEE) and Power BI (e.g. via Web Data Connector). Instead of manually exporting data from Primo Analytics and uploading it to Power BI, we need to find a better way to automatically update the data in Power BI Reports/Dashboard.
If we can schedule Primo…

Export a Primo Permalink from Alma to Results of an Alma Set
Analytics enables one to create some very advanced queries in Alma, but there's no way to share the Results with users in Primo. Being able to create a Primo permalink to the results of an Alma set would remedy that.

Create a "Resources I can access" item under the Show Only left hand side menu.
Create a "Resources I can access" filter item under the Show Only left hand side menu. This would use the clients logged in group to apply a filter to search results to only show those that they can actually access with their login group. I am sure you can think of a better label for the filter. The principle is the same as "Full Text Online" - most of the time clients want to be able to get to the items they can access straight away as efficiently as possible - this is not an issue most of the time…

Sub-collections: allowing a different description at the top level from a click further down
With sub-collections, we would like to be able to have a different description at the top level, than at a click further down.
For instance, on the collections page, a sub-collection description might simply read:
"Relating to agriculture and rural development"
, whereas, once the user has clicked into that sub-collection, they would see a different, and potentially more ample, description, such as:
"Material relating to all aspects of agriculture and rural development including material dealing with soil, irrigation, crops, farming material and village life."
