Create a "Resources I can access" filter item under the Show Only left hand side menu. This would use the clients logged in group to apply a filter to search results to only show those that they can actually access with their login group. I am sure you can think of a better label for the filter. The principle is the same as "Full Text Online" - most of the time clients want to be able to get to the items they can access straight away as efficiently as possible - this is not an issue most of the time for students and staff, but for Alumni and other groups with much more restricted access it can be frustrating wading through lots of results that you can't access. This should be able to be toggled on or off.

Or alternatively allow sites to combine group access with the "Full Text Online" filter - essentially access to full text is limited both at the package level and via the group access. People just want access to full text and combining group permissions with the other Full Text algorithm elements would deliver them the Full Text they can actually access in more cases. I hope that makes sense.
