We welcome your ideas for new content (metadata) to add to the Knowledge Bases (KBs - Alma CZ, SFX, 360) and Discovery services (CDI - Central Discovery Index whose data supports Primo and Summon).
- Check if your idea has already been posted and vote for it before posting a new idea.
- Choose the right category: "New Provider" for content from a provider that has no available content in the KBs or CDI, or "Existing Provider" for content from a provider that already has content available in the KBs or CDI.
- Add a direct link to the provider/resource you suggest, and a contact person if possible.
- For enrichment requests add the relevant collection ID(s).
- Make sure you mention any specific added value your idea has to the community such as language or supporting diversity.
- Did you find errors in an existing collection? please open a case.
- A new year has begun but no corresponding annual collection? post an idea in Idea Exchange, make sure to mention if it is an existing provider.
- Existing Provider - if your idea is for a new collection from a provider that already has content available in the KBs and CDI or enriching records for an existing collection, use this category. No voting is necessary, ideas for existing providers will be handled regardless of voting.
- New Providers - if your idea is for content from a provider that does not have any content available in the KBs and CDI, choose this category. The ideas for new providers will be annually prioritized via the CERV process.
- Other - for non provider specific ideas

Add Infoteka collections migrating from East View to Alma CZ
We received a notice from East View that "select electronic resources previously provided by East View Information Services are migrating to a new database platform," Infoteka (https://infoteka.com/). Access to the new platform went live on May 15, 2026 and access to affected resources will no longer be available from East View beginning August 15, 2026. This impacts a number of Russian East View collections. I've attached a spreadsheet provided by East View of "UDB Platforms - Databases being removed from https://dlib.eastview.com." Could the Infoteka collections be added to the Alma CZ?

Add Met Opera on Demand Records to the CZ
Please add the Metropolitan Opera's "Met Opera on Demand" content to the CZ. They do not appear to have records directly available, but they do offer MARC records through OCLC's Connection Manager.
Very few students use the correct proxy database link to visit Met Opera separately as their first method of finding these recordings. More often, students search Primo (which will not show Met Opera records, leading them to assume it's not online) OR bypass our specific link and go directly to Met Opera or Google, often making it appear like they can't access it. Enhancing searchability through original script support for non-latin data
Hi,
currently, the CZ-data in other than latin scripts is often transliterated using the ALA transliteration rules. However, these rules are not used in all regions of the world. This issue concerns mainly the title and authors. Ultimately, the different transliterations make the search for this data very difficult.We suggest that the CZ-data in other than latin scripts should contain the original script as well as the transliteration. Add ISLaS+ database to Alma
ISLaS+ is a consortial ILS shared by most of Greek universities. In order to benefit from their metadata, it would be a great asset to integrate its database to the external ressources harvested by Alma. This would be especially useful for libraries with Moder Greek collections.

There is a CZ collection for the ebook portion of this collection (Child & Adolescent Studies Source eBook Subscription Collection ID: 611022575880000041), but not for the rest, which means the other individual items in the collection will not be discoverable in Primo. Please add the EBSCO Child & Adolescent Studies Source collection to the CZ.

Add Canadian Newsstream Collection
ProQuest has recently upgraded our subscription from Canadian Major Dailies to Canadian Newsstream Collection. Can you please create a CZ collection for Canadian Newsstream Collection?
Ideally, this would be a package collection with journal portfolios and CDI articles. The CLIENT ID linking parameter is also required for access.

History Makers metadata
This is in reference to the previous post about History Makers from 2023. Since the burden of manually loading MARC records for the collection remains, and since it has been over three years when you last reached out to the provider, would you kindly look into the feasibility of adding title-level metadata and electronic service to the History Makers CZ database?

Sidestone Press : Open Access and freely available E-Books
The books from the publisher Sidestone Press can be read on its website for free immediately upon publication. Furthermore according to their Open Access model, the publisher makes their books available for free download 4 years after publication.
Their catalogue contains ca. 450 titles and 40-60 new books are published each year.Based on a request from a reference librarian, I ask you to get in contact with Sidestone press and check whether these freely and Open Access titles can be added as a collection in the CZ.
