Ability to customize which fields display to the public in Leganto forms
We would like to be able to customize which fields display to the public in the various forms in Leganto (similar to the configuration options for the various request forms in the GetIt Configuration in Alma for Primo).
For example, we do not require instructors to indicate start and end dates when configuring lists or submitting digitization and/or copyright clearance requests, so it would be ideal if we could hide those fields from instructors so they don't input anything (and also ensure that the system leaves those fields blank rather than automatically inputting a value).

Last Leganto activity date on the user profile
That the user profile contains a last leganto activity date along side the last patron activity date. It is not given that users of leganto use the library in a way that would generate a patron activity.
With leganto the user profile has become important to elements not necessarily connected to library activities but the overall student activities. And especially in purging of users it is important to be able to see if leganto activity is present.4 votes -
Hide holdings in bulk
Instructors have the option to hide physical or electronic holdings from students in a citation when the instructormanagecitationavailablelink parameter is set to true. However there is no way to do this in bulk and it makes it difficult where we have a number of reading lists with multiple citations where there's a physical and electronic holding and we want to hide one of these. It would be very helpful for this to be an option.

Duplicate and Connect Courses Information Icon
We have found the options to duplicate vs connect courses causes a lot of confusion for our faculty. It would be helpful if we could add an information icon on each of those options in the search for reading lists that would display more information about when to select Duplicate vs Connect.

I suggest that Leganto get in touch with the publisher Emerald to set up Cite-It for their papers.

Task Widget Filtered by Processing Department
UNSW is a library with multiple processing departments and during peak Leganto processing times clicking through the Task Widget - Reading Lists/Citations to identify the workload for each dept creates an additional step in the process.
We do have the ability to filter the Reading Lists etc. by Processing Department once we have clicked on the option in the list, for e.g. Unassigned - Ready for Processing, however it would be helpful if those filters could be applied to the main menu Task Widget - Reading Lists/Citations, visible on the ALMA home page, so that only the options requiring our…

Add option to import citations in bulk to "Search the Library" and "Import References"
Currently, it is only possible to add one single citation at a time to a reading list when using "Search the Library" or "Import References from Zotero/from Mendeley". It would be very convenient if instructors could select multiples citations in the results list and import them in bulk into the reading list.

Zotero/ Mendeley Import: Add option to select a folder/ a collection
In Zotero and Mendeley, users can organize their references in folders or collections. In Leganto, however, citations from reference management systems can only be imported at the library level (everything). Especially for users with extensive reference collections, it would be much clearer if a specific folder or a specific collection could be selected when importing citations into Leganto.

'Associated with Reading List' column when viewing Course list in Alma
At the moment when viewing list of courses on Alma, the only way to find out if a course has a Reading List is to use the 'Associated Lists - Exist/None' facet, or by clicking the menu button of the course and then select 'Reading List'.
It would be much more useful if there was a column that says if the course has an associated Reading List or not. Or even better - have a column to display the number of Reading Lists associated with the course.

Add Workflow Notes to Reading List Citation Slips
Currently, Reading list citation slips are not configured to include Workflow Notes, which means processing instructions are not included on the pull slips and that information must be retrieved separately. It would expedite reading list processing to have Workflow Notes included in these slips (which currently include basic bibliographic information, call number, and bar code).

Suggest Replacement feature - keep book extract or chapter information
When using the Suggest Replacement feature for book extract or chapter citations, the data in the chapter and/or page range fields should be kept (rather than automatically deleted) if the suggestion is approved. When the suggestion is approved either from Leganto or Alma there should be an alert (like a pop-up box) to notify the user they may need to check the chapter/page range details on the suggested replacement.
Alternatively, the user could be presented with an option to decide whether the chapter/extract information is kept or overwritten.

Embed outside tools in Leganto
Support embedding iframes in some areas of the Leganto UI so that additional relevant functionality from outside tools can be surfaced to end users.
For example the Cite them right embeddable search bar https://search.citethemrightonline.com/4 votes -
Add style classes to citations imported to LMS editor
When citations are imported to an LMS text editor using the LTI 1.3 integration, these are added as HTML code with basic formatting.
Could the HTML elements which make up these citations have regular class attributes attached to them?
If so, we could use CSS included in our LMS to consistently style these citations to match the rest of our learning content.

Scheduling the dates of visibility of citations/attachments in NUI
We want to limit the dates between which citations or attachments can be viewed/downloaded. This is available in the classic interface but not in the new one.
It is usefulI when you (librarian or instructor) want to prepare the complete reading list at the beginning of the course, to set the dates on which citations/attachments will be made visible to users. This is good when your course works with case studies in a big way, for example.
In this situation, or similar, it is important because you are working with materials which students have to download and you don't want…20 votes -
Reading List Bulk Update job - reset copyright status
Given that the Reading List Bulk Update job is designed to reset all fields within the reading lists, it is essential to incorporate an option to reset the copyright status as well.

More customisation for 'send for review' process - automatically sent for review, list not published
I am currently looking at configuring reading list citation statuses/the reading list review process to best fit our workflows for a small team with a large volume of lists. We find that academic staff rarely submit their lists for review so we have a lot of citations sitting in 'being prepared' and lists with completed citations still showing as 'being prepared' when they shouldn't be. Library staff begin work on these 'being prepared' citations as though they are 'ready for processing' regardless of whether the list has been submitted for review by academic staff due to the volume of citations…

Categorize "Related items" in new UI
In the old interface, when adding a physical edition of a book, you can check "Other formats and editions" in the right-hand side panel.
Existing editions are separated into "Electronic versions" and "Other editions".However, in the new UI, both electronic and physical editions are mixed and presented in one single list. If there are many editions of a book and the instructor is only looking to add an electronic version to a citation, then the many editions make it hard to quickly identify the few electronic versions.
The list would be more readable if electronic and physical formats were…

Option to Hide Watch button when a citation YouTube video is not available to play outside of YouTube
The new UI allows users to watch YouTube videos from the citation level so the user does not have to link out to another window. If the video owner does not allow the video to play outside of YouTube, users will receive an error (refer to attached screenshot). It would be nice if it were possible to have the option to hide the 'Watch' button for instances where the YouTube video will not play outside of YouTube.

Set location for physical reserves in request
It would be helpful within Leganto for instructors to determine at either the course or the citation level which pickup location they want their course materials to reside. For libraries with central processing groups that manage multiple physical locations, we cannot always rely on faculty to put a note in the request.

A designated field for E-locators in citations
We would like a separate field for e-locators in Leganto citations.
The publisher's use of this identifier is increasingly common, and included in several reference styles, such as APA. Today, the e-locator appears in the page number field, which can be confusing. The field should also be included in the export to RIS and to reference managers like Endnote.
A designated e-locator field would also be useful for Primo displays.
