Show all user IDs where more than one user reports broken citation link
The Edit Citations area in Alma only shows the user ID of the most recent user to mark a citation link as broken. If more than one user has marked the same link as broken then this is shown by a number, but you cannot see the previous user IDs.
This is hugely problematic for our team as we try to follow up with all users by email, either to let them know that a broken link has been fixed or to ask for more information for troubleshooting purposes.

Reading list visibility/searchable in Google
Our institutions wonder if it is possible to make the reading lists visible in Google so that the students can get the reading lists if they search for the course code or a topic that is covered by the reading list.
I tried to look in the documentation, but could not find anything about this.
Is there a possibillity to make the lists visible/indexed by Google (e.g. by a sitemap or similar)?

Let teachers make their own content open access
We have three kinds of content:
* copyrighted material - should never be OA
* teacher-created content that they want to keep to their class only
* teacher-created content that they'd like to share with other teachers and/or use to promote their classTo accommodate this third group, we'd like functionality that would let teachers tag content they've uploaded to be made open access. Functionality should:
make teachers confirm they (or the university as their employer) own the IP
let them choose a Creative Commons license
provide a permalink for the item where it's accessible publically
provide a platform where…

Add a Leganto-specific email address after "Reply to" in notification letters
Some institutions use a Leganto-specific email address, which they would like to add at the end of the Leganto notifications letters, where it says "Reply to" (see attachment).
The address listed after that (Contact us) is a general email address for the library/institution.
Not all of them may need to use different addresses but it would be nice to have the option.
Could you consider making the necessary changes, and add a <leganto_email> element in the XML as well (XML to letter admin)?

Button to toggle list editor/manager status for all collaborators at once
In almost all cases, we want collaborators to be able to manage their lists rather than just edit them. This means having to individually change the setting for each collaborator after adding them.
It would be much quicker if there was a single button in the 'Manage collaborators' window to switch all other collaborators from 'Can edit list' to 'Can manage list', and vice versa. This button should only be visible to library staff and existing list managers.

When adding citations to a list via search, prioritize latest edition and owned item first
Sometimes instructors perform a citation search in Leganto and just add the first result that comes up in the search results; often this is actually a book review or other format that isn't logical for reserves. Additionally, most instructors are searching and expecting the latest edition to appear first in the list. Other faculty from certain departments want to choose a particular edition, and so need edition information prominently surfaced in the search result.
This results in processing delays as staff must check with instructors to clarify what items they really intended to place on reserve.
One possible solution may…

Frequently auto-refresh Leganto reading lists so statuses are updated without having to continually, manually refresh the page
I think it would be helpful to auto-refresh Leganto reading lists so any real-time changes are evident without having to manually refresh the page. This suggestion arose when library staff were trying to help faculty troubleshoot problems over the phone, but I think it would be helpful in general.

Cite It favicon
The Cite It bookmark should have a favicon (small icon or logo) so that it is easily distinguishable from other bookmarks.

Show accurate total of books in stock
The Alma side of Leganto uses the number of copies of a book in total but unlike Primo, does not ignore books marked as 'lost' or 'missing'. Would it be possible for Leganto to show the current total of books in stock (either available or on loan) without any missing/lost ones?

Alerts
We would prefer a shorter way to view citation notes within Alma, either by clicking on a note within the overview (see attachment ‘Citation note’) or by display of details (‘the note’) within the overview. Now we have to go to Edit > Notes to see the requests/remarks that are essential for our services to instructors.

Update tags via API
Currently, the Tags API is limited to retrieving tags. We would like the ability to be able to update and/or remove tags in bulk via a script using the API.

Configure which links can be embedded in citation
In Leganto there is now functionality to directly embed citations. This can be enabled so that links can be embedded in the citation screen and the site shows in Leganto without the student having to view it in another tab.
This works well when the URL can be directly resolved. However, if a link must go through a proxy authentication mechanism before it can resolve then a large blank space shows in the Leganto citation instead of the site or proxy login screen.
We propose the ability to configure Leganto so that you can choose to only allows links that…

Identify and combine related editions in Leganto
Problem: A lack of FRBRisation in bibliographic records in Alma means that in Leganto different formats of the same title can only be offered on individual citations, i.e. the print edition will be one
citation, and the eBook will be on another citation. We want to be able to offer all available formats of a title to our students.Impact: Without the ability to combine citations of the print and electronic version of the same title, they currently appear as if they are two required readings (see attachment 1).
The lack of ability to combine multiple versions of the same…

Removal of standard blank template and ability to create a default institution template which cannot be deleted
We would like to remove or hide the standard out of the box blank template and have a standard institutional template which cannot be deleted or customized. This would ensure that reading lists created by instructors are of the same standard.

Remove an individual user from all courses/lists where they are an instructor/owner
This is only currently possible as a bulk process using the reading list 'Remove all owners' job, or by using the course uploader. This is inefficient in cases where an individual member of staff leaves or is no longer teaching on a specified module and therefore needs to be manually removed as a list owner / course instructor.

Sections
We prefer the option to add sections or move citations to different sections within Alma. The assigned section is shown for each citation in the overview of the Readinglist (see attachment ‘Section Alma’) but it only possible to change a section by drag&drop in Leganto. This is less convenient for librarians when we create or change a list on behalf of an instructor (and work from Alma). For lists that have a lot of sections and citations, the moving of citations in Leganto is also not the most user-friendly way (and the most secure way – a citation is easily…

Filters/sorting/duplicates
Filters/sorting/duplicates
It is possible to look for citations within Alma’s persistent searchbox, but we would prefer a sorting function (A-Z) or a searchbox within a list. This would help looking for a citation while staying in a readinglist. Furthermore, it would help to detect unintended duplicates which have been added from, for example, ‘My Collection’ AND Repository Search AND Zotero. Or is it possible to mark duplicated citations?

Changing a name on a reading list in Leganto can not be saved when Alma is open
When changing the title of a reading list in Leganto it is changed back after a short while. We have found a way around it with having Alma closed when updating the title in Leganto.
We would like to be able to change the name in Leganto without having to close Alma for it to be saved.

Display Instructor's name along with list title and code in search.
This is a very simply display improvement. Students looking for lists from searchlists often want to find their list by instructor name. Sometimes they will browse by department, or try to find their course amongst other sections and there is no indication of who the list instructor is from the brief list record. Even if they search by that name, they may misspell it and still have to and have to click through to open the course to be assured they have the right list. Adding it with the code at the bottom of the display would be a useful…

Display series information in citation details
It would be useful if book series information (from the title record 440 and/or 490 fields) could be surfaced in citation metadata details. This is important information which should be displayed for the benefit of our users.
