Leganto Refresh This Page
The ‘Refresh this page’ function in the old Leganto interface allowed you to refresh a long list with collapsed sections and would return the list with the sections still collapsed and only the section you were working on open.
This option has gone from the NUI. If you use the browser refresh, the list reopens without the sections collapsed. This is extremely disruptive to the workflow of staff and leads to time wasted and confusion in finding the part of the list that was being worked on.
Please can the 'Refresh this page' function be restored?

Display Waiting for Approval Copyright Status in Citations
When viewing a citation in Leganto that is awaiting copyright approval, the status is not visible in the list or brief view. Users must open the full details and navigate to the item actions tab to see this information. Additionally, if a citation is incomplete, it shows as ‘Library is processing,’ which only reflects the citation status, not the copyright status.
Please add a visible indicator in the list and brief view of citations to show the ‘Copyright is waiting for approval’ status. The status should also be available as a filter in the list.

Ask the library for a digital copy form
Currently it's configured that or the field "Chapters" or the field "Pages from - Pages to" is mandatory.

Introduce a specific message for lists that have not yet been published and for which the library review has been completed
In the following scenario, a specific message for the instructors is missing in the Leganto user interface:
An instructor sends a list to the library for review without publishing it to the students. The message “The library is reviewing your list. Your list is not yet visible to students. To publish or send additional changes, click on "My list is ready" to notify the library.” is displayed in the banner on top of the list. The library completes the review and sets the list to “complete” status. In the UI the same message is still displayed.

Add RefWorks as an export option to the favourites area
Currently there is no option to export items from favourites directly to RefWorks like you can from other citations. Our users would find this useful as we subscribe to RefWorks.

Clear indication for print or electronic resources from other institutions
Since the June 2024 release it is indicated in the Leganto UI if another institution in a multi-campus environment has physical or electronic holdings. Unfortunately, Leganto users can only see in Primo whether it is a print or an electronic resource. In the Leganto UI, the same icon and the same labeling are used for both. As our users usually have no access to electronic resources from other institutions, it would be an important improvement for them to become able to clearly recognize them immediately in Leganto and not only after many clicks in Primo.

Allow more color customization in branding in new UI
Like many schools, we have a centralized brand guide and we are supposed to use those colors in design and interfaces whenever possible. The new UI color choices do not match the school branding and are far enough off that it will look odd to end users. A system where we could choose either preset colors or to customize by specifying hex color codes would be a much better fit for us.

Refine "Held by Library" Filter in Leganto
Our institution is part of a large library network with over 50 other Institutional Zones. Currently, the "Held by Library" filter in Leganto shows physical items from all libraries in the network, not just our holdings. However, in the context of Leganto, only items held by our institution are relevant for the instructors, particularly, because we cannot add items from other institutions to course reserves.
We request an enhancement to either:
1. Modify the "Held by Library" filter to only show items from the local IZ.
2. Introduce a separate filter to limit results to items from the local IZ.…19 votes -
Add Springshare LibChat chat widget to Leganto new UI
A large number of Leganto libraries are also Springshare chat users. It would be very helpful to be able to integrate the LibChat widget on the new Leganto UI. In Primo VE this is done by via the customisation package, but it would be helpful if it was enabled as a config option within Alma to enable customers to input their Springshare chat widget ID within a hard coded optional interface feature.

Improve Calculation of 'Date Available From' for Copyright Approved Citations
The 'Date Available From' field in the copyright details of a citation should accurately reflect the date that students could access the uploaded file for a copyright approved citation.
However, currently, for citations with copyright approval that were created by rolling over a list, the 'Date Available From' field, defaults to the course start date, even if the citation was created after the course began. This is problematic because if the citation didn't exist at the start of the course, then the 'Date Available From' field doesn't reflect the actual earliest date students could access the uploaded file.

Mass update on citations
For example, if you have a new edition, you have to go in to each citation individually and update it. It would be much easier if we could select the citations we needed and be able to do an update of them all of them at once.

Improve Leganto question and answers with a guidance note field at the bottom
We make significant use of the Leganto Item Request Question and Answer functionality, but one of the problems encountered is that there is no 'bottom' guidance note label, only a question description field at the top, i.e.
Currently you can only define:
-Question,
-a question description,
[answer options]This means there is no scope for a final note/guidance label which can be used to guide instructors in how to fill out the options and describe the next steps by the library.
Without this, all and any such consequential information has to be crammed into the 'top' question/Question description customer labels.…

Find list settings allow librarians to customize the basic and advanced search interfaces in Leganto but it is not available in the new UI. It would be very useful to replicate this function in the new UI interface.

Make new edition suggestions actionable for instructors from the detailed notification letter
There is a workflow issue for instructors starting from the detailed leganto notifications letter.
Scenario:
1. Librarian suggests a new edition for a citation in Alma
2. Instructor receives the detailed notification letter with a link to the citation view for the existing citation that now has a suggestion
3. Instructor looks around and there is nowhere to do anything about the suggestion, although they might spot the new edition tag - it does nothing when they click on it

NEW UI: Leganto cover thumbnail size in the new UI
Sometimes, Instructors are in trouble when trying to identify the correct citation to manage. It would be helpful if the thumbnails of the books' cover for the instructor view would be bigger.

Questions should not be triggered when items are added from reference management systems
We defined questions that are triggered when a citation is added that has no inventory. Now we have the problem that these questions are always triggered when a user adds items from a reference management system (Mendeley, Zotero, …), even if the library actually owns inventory for these items. This happens because the resource locate process is not initiated when adding items from a reference management system.
The best scenario would of course be that the questions in the “add from reference management system” flow are only triggered when an item is added that meets the criteria. As this scenario…10 votes -

Re-associating courses to reading lists with digitisations
When there is digitisation on a list you cannot easily reassociate it to another string code if needed, the workaround is quite time-consuming involving editing the course in Alma and then doing the usual editing in the DCS.

Allow advanced search of Citations and editing of individual citations within a set of citations
I frequently look for citations meeting certain criteria - simple like recently added Books on active lists, on published lists, where the book is essential. To do that I have to go select all citations, sort it by last created, choose the filters, active, published. I then look at a couple to e.g. see if there is a newer edition. If I want to continue with the same project, I have to recreate all the steps.
It is impossible to create a query with two filters from the same group, e.g. Material type books or Book chapters or Citation tags…

Multi-site list alerts for print items
We have 7 physical locations 6 of which have print items. We want to set up Leganto to automatically complete physical inventory when added by an instructor as we do not have a "course reserve" workflow or short loan process. In other words, if an instructor adds print to their reading list we are happy that it can be accessed by the students on the open shelves.
