I agree. Without this, I created a ridiculous workaround to add a special General Electronic Service to display a message, which shows up in Links instead of where I want it, directly under the Database.

This happens in English too. For example, if I search for the title of a book "Preclinical speech science", it finds the book, but if I search for it with a hyphen in the title, i.e., "Pre-clinical speech science", it won't find it. Search engines know how to find it quite easily if you add an extra hyphen so why can't Primo?

Yes, we need this! The first 856 field in our records have cover image JPG files. Alma creates the link using this JPG file. If we could run our normalization process BEFORE Alma creates the links, we could remove this 856 field or make sure it isn't the first 856 in the record. Otherwise, our links are all wrong. Thanks.
