Give the website a 'dark mode' option
Please give a dark mode option, my eyes are killing me with the bright refworks tab open at 11pm whilst I write my dissertation. Thanks.

An localized icon image for OpenURLs (like Legacy RefWorks has)
Currently each citation in legacy RefWorks can be configured to include the institution's unique image in place of the OpenURL link. Not sure why this is not an option in New RefWorks

Bibliografías organizadas por tipo de material
Será muy intersante que Rewforks permitiese hacer bibliografías organizadas por tipo de material: monografías, artículos, tesis, etc.

allow to search for citation using the URL field - not just the title field.
When a user is looking to manually build a citation, allow the lightening bolt tool to operate on the URL field rather than title of the document field. This is the standard in other Citation builders and students are often looking for it.

Technical standards currently uses the default reference type. We would prefer it to use Cite Them Right's Harvard specification
Cite Them Right defines it as:
Name of authorising organisation (Year of publication) Number and title of standard. Place of publication: publisher OR Available at: URL (Accessed: date).
(see attached screenshot for italics)
This could also be applied to Summon's Harvard output style which is also deficient. For example, on Summon the Harvard output style cites:
ASTM International 2017, Standard Practice for Sampling Freshly Mixed Concrete. This omits the parentheses around the year, and there is no metadata for: Place of publication: publisher. Similarly, for a BS EN ISO standard, the output is also wonky -- it should display British…6 votes -
New feature to link references
It will be very useful (at leas to me) to add a new feature that will allow to set a link between references, i.e.
- is cited by
- is review of
- Is a rejoinder of
- etc.
And the posibility to use that feature while building bibiographies to inser while citing a book where is reviewed, who has cited it,etc.
A search engine to follow that tree and navigate thru it would be useful too.

Enable stats at folder level
Enable stats at the folder level. If we make a folder of citations public, we can see how many view the folder. This would be really helpful!
At this point, we would have to use a link manager, like Bitly to count views. Having to add another platform, such as Bitly, to support our RefWorks-related needs is not ideal.

RefWorks Statistics - referencing/citation style being used
If possible please include stats on what referencing/citation style our users are using in refworks (and if possible in WnC).
Reasons : to help us have a better idea of what our users are actually using and catch those areas using other styles that we are aware of.

Problems with entering date
When full dates are entered in long date format (i.e. February 3, 2018), a comma is being added after the day number in the APA Citation view (i.e. 2018, Feb 3,). However, it should be displayed without the final comma (i.e. 2018, Feb 3). Entering the date without a comma (i.e. February 3 2018) into the 'Publish Date' field seems to correct the issue, but does not match the format of date as suggested by the in-field tip (i.e. "Mar 12, 2015" or "2015").

Help keeping the consistency of author's names II. Provide Author Management.
Legacy Refworks had a very useful feature. You could do "Search by author". That search gave you a list of all authors matching the search with the number of publications of each author. Then you could select a specific author and obtain a list of all her references.
New refworks has not such a search. So it is difficult for one to really know when one could have the same author entered differently in the database.6 votes -
Add new field for translated books
Could you please consider adding new fields; publisher and published year of translated version? Some bibliographies for books require them of ranslated version besides original version.

Provide a RefWorks citation format that will be able to be used by any software
It would be very useful if there was a way to have a RefWorks citation format for every reference so that we can use them in any software besides MS Word (e.g. MS Powerpoint, Obsidian, Notepad).
Example: I want to organize my research ideas in Obsidian software. Next to each idea, I want to keep (shortly) the references that are related to each idea as kept in Refworks. I don't mind about the citation style. All I want, is a short unique Refworks citation of my references that will link to the actual reference to the Refworks library.
Then, when…

Add NCBI abbreviations for AMA 11th edition
Abbreviation of journals in accordance with NCBI https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/nlmcatalog/journals/ is inconsistent for AMA 11th edition format. Sometimes the generated citations have abbreviated titles and other times they don't.

[New RefWorks] 나만의 출력스타일(Citation style) 공유하기 기능 추가해주세요 - Request for my custom citation styles share feature
The users can share the custom citation style by using back-up and restore function in Legacy, but New RefWorks is not. It was very useful feature. I want to share my custom style with my colleague not publish to the institutional style in public.
6 votesAs a workaround, custom own styles can be shared with all users at institution by an Admin. Own user styles can be shared with other users with help from Tech Support: https://support.proquest.com/s/refworks

Fix Syntax Errors in BibTeX Export, Automatic Sync with Overleaf
Currently RefWorks' BibTeX export functionality makes a lot of basic syntax mistakes.
It does not automatically escape symbols such as '&' with '&' and '%' with '\%' as is required.
It also does not handle company authors well as it takes "Company, Inc." and just writes "author={Company, Inc.}" which is processed by BibTeX as "lastname, firstname". What needs to be done is "author={{Company, Inc.}}" and RefWorks does not do it automatically so I have to keep fixing it every time I export a RefWorks project's references into BibTeX.
Furthermore, RefWorks' doesn't even attempt to preserve the capitalisation of acronyms like…

Request for a Feature to View Citation Styles and Output Results in a List
On the "Create Bibliography" screen, it was previously possible to view the list of Citation styles in alphabetical order. Now, it seems that the list only appears after entering a search term.
I would appreciate it if there were a way to view the style names and their output results in a list without entering a search term.5 votes -
Be able to merge duplicate references
I think it would be very useful that when Refworks detects duplicates, these references can be merged. In addition to could choose what information save from each of them. Sometimes the firsth reference has the DOI but not the pdf, second reference has the pdf but does not have author information correctly entered, etc.

Refworks citation manager - where a citation indicates "(missing data)" there should be an easy method for determining
Refworks citation manager - where a citation indicates "(missing data)" there should be an easy method for determining exactly which elements are missing rather than a trial and error process. Perhaps Refworks could provide an indicator within the citation creation process as to which fields will result in missing data if not completed.

Allow successive folder assignments
After successfully adding select citations from a list of records to a 1st folder, allow the user to go through the list again to pick other citations to add to other folders. Currently the "apply" button doesn't show up again until you refresh the page.
My particular use case is systematic review screening. I go through a page of results selecting those I want to move to an "include" folder. Then I want to toggle the check boxes and add the others to an "exclude folder". I'd need to refresh the page to get the "apply" button back, loosing the…
