Digitization request form - show fields for journal articles as well as books
Improve the request digitization form so that it
shows the appropriate fields if the bookmark is a journal article, and shows the existing information from the bookmark to the requestor.
The information appears in the Alma citation, but I'd like the requester (whether academic or library staff) to see the information from the Leganto side.

Add Citavi Integration to Leganto
As a librarian from a German library just introducing Leganto I would recommend to add Citavi to Leganto.
Citavi (https://www.citavi.com/de) is a widely used, sophisticated and user friendly reference management and knowledge organization software. It is available as site license to the members of most of German, Austrian and Swiss universities (see https://www.citavi.com/de/campuslizenzen) and additionally to some other European and overseas academic institutions (many Spanish speaking).
A Citavi integration with Leganto would be an additional benefit and welcome feature especially to new Leganto users from D A CH where for example software like RefWorks in less widely…

Provide an ability to configure the sort order of the links display in Leganto
Currently the links are displayed according to what the Alma u-resolver returns back, and the results (links) are dependent on the collection activation in Alma. We need the option to sort links (Ascending/Descending) in Leganto view, regardless of the Alma / Primo sort.

Add Warning (in Leganto) about associating multiple Reading Lists to Single Course code
In our environment, we prefer only one Reading List to be associated with a single Course Code. However, sometimes Instructors link multiple Reading Lists to the same course. This is often in error.
It would be good to have a warning in Leganto that warns instructors that they are linking a Reading List to a Course code that already has a Reading List attached to it.
This should be able to be "overridden" to allow for instances where it is in fact desirable. And should be configurable for institutions for whom this is not desirable to be seen by instructors.

More granular configuration of citation export options
In Config > Leganto > UI > List menu we can configure which options display for users eg whether to give them the option to Export.
But "Export" has a lot of sub-options and we don't want to confuse lecturers/students with most of them. We'd like somewhere we can configure which of these we want/don't want to offer (eg so we could promote the "to Word" and "to Endnote" options but hide the "to PDF" and "to Excel" options).

Create a way to match old lists to newer version of lists.
Recently we have had a curriculum review which has meant not all courses are rolled over. Sometimes we are creating new courses. Then as lecturers finally start working on their lists. They tell the library that this is the newer course of an old course. It would be go to have a way of marking old lists and their newer version. Even if they have been created without rollover.

popular reading lists
We currently have old lists showing on our popular reading list section. We would like to be able to remove these from the list. Either by changing the configuration of how the list is created or being able to pick which lists are in the popular list.

Be able to configure visibility of "Upcoming Due Dates"
Allow for an option to make "Upcoming Due Dates" to be visible or hidden depending on the needs of the institution. This seems to be visible by default.

Hide locations from Resource Locate
Hide locations from Resource Locate
We would like an option to filter out specific locations for the resource locate functionality in Leganto.
For legal reasons we can't purge lost/discarded items, they have to remain in Alma where they are collected in locations that are suppressed from discovery so they don't show up in Primo. Unfortunately that doesn't exclude them from being used as positive results for resource locating even though they are not actually available.
We also have several collections that are not accessible to people but (some of them) show up in Primo. Those are also items we wouldn't…

Allow resource_locate_multiple_matches and resource_locate_multiple_matches_priority to take effect when locating single citation in Alma
When resource locate is run on a single citation, Alma will only locate it if a single match is found; if there are no matches or multiple matches then the resource locate will fail and the citation's status will change to declined.
The resource locate multiple match priority settings, which we use to prioritise electronic inventory, currently only apply when running resource locate in bulk using the Process and Enrich citations in Bulk job or when citations are added in Leganto by instructors. It does not apply when running resource locate on a single citation in Alma i.e. as happens…

Leganto: Have a Reference displayed for the resource in the style required eg APA7th
There was a comment from an academic saying when their readings were in the Learning Management System they had the correct APA referencing style demonstrated, with the link to the reading – so students could see the correct format. And the academic was disappointed that the Leganto list didn’t demonstrate the referencing in the correct style. So we would propose that under the title of the resource in the Leganto list, the reference for the resource would be listed in APA6 (or probably APA7 now) format. Ideally it would be like Endnote – where we input the data in the…

Add a Session Timeout URL config in Legnato
Add an option in Leganto configuration where we can specify a "Session Timeout URL" so it is not just dependent on Alma settings. This variable is available in Primo. Since this is a student facing interface, it would be good to be able to configure this feature.

Leganto labels to support HTML tags
Currently only the text of labels in Leganto can be customised and HTML tags are not supported. This limits the usefulness for customisation, particularly for including hyperlinks in the labels.
For example, we have just updated the list.notavailable and list.primo.notavailable labels to include a link to a form which students can fill in to request that a list be created for their course, however we have had to add text advising the student to copy and paste the link as we are not able to add a hyperlink using HTML. The usability is therefore not as efficient for students.

Accessibility for Digital Items on Course Reserves
Currently we are only able to add one file to a single citation. We would like to provide all the alternative electronic formats for scanned articles and book chapters to make sure that our electronic resources are more accessible. We have been testing with the Blackboard Ally program, which produces alternative electronic files of the following types: OCRedPDF, Tagged PDF, Audio, HTML, Electronic Braille, ePub and Beeline Reader. Another option for the future could be Leganto automatically making those file types available once you attach a scanned document. The file transforming tool we are currently using is at https://ally.ac/covid19/ .
