Notes added in Alma to default to 'Library' type (rather than 'Instructor')
Notes added in Alma are likely to be for internal use only for Library staff. It would therefore be useful for the note type to default to 'Library' rather than 'Instructor'.

Reading List Folders broken down from Subject faculty then into course then into year
Briefly, we would like a way to organize reading lists on the Leganto list view beyond being able to search them, for example folders that can contain reading lists.
Our Business School and Faculty of Medicine staff have told us they have too many courses to manage easily on list view, so have suggested this feature to help organise their lists better. They suggest that seeing only their current year courses on the Leganto home page list view, and their previous years lists in folders.
User story: as a medicine course convener responsible for multiple reading lists, I would like…

make tags of mandatory or optional reading as compulsory so that librarians know exactly which material to buy without having to clarify
if these tags were compulsory Liaison librarian wouldn't then have to clarify with instructors whether or not to buy material.

Limit the approvals request list
It would greatly improve workflow to allow the staff processing the Approvals Request List to be able to limit the items in the list by the year, semester and request type (e.g. to weed out Patron Request types). This would let staff show just the items they are interested in, and eliminate all the noise of the old approvals.
Attached is an example of how we would like the Status filter to appear on the Approval Requests List.

'Add new title to section' button - float in long sections
Some lists have long sections. It would be very helpful not to have to scroll up through long sections to get to the 'Add new title to section' button. Would it be possible to make this button 'float' so that it is visible wherever you are in a list section. This would improve the list navigation experience for instructors and creators.

Make volume information more visible in citation in Leganto
For citations with a volume number, "Vol." is added when the list is exported to Word with APA or another style.
This happens accordingly to citation style rules, but also greatly helps identifying what kind of information the number refers to.
In Leganto, volume numbers are displayed without this pre-text, and stand on their own. Having "vol." added also in the citation in Leganto (without messing with the export) would make such citations easier to read and more userfriendly.

Cite It support for ECCO
ECCO (Eighteenth Century Collections Online) is not supported by Cite It. This is a Gale Cengage product, and a widely used resource, so we would expect it to be supported.

Customise Leganto Reading lists using CSS
We would like to be able to adjust a CSS stylesheet to tweak the visual styling of the the Leganto reading lists. We have received feedback regarding the sizing of some important elements on the pages, especially the View Online link. We would like to be able to make this link more obvious to users.

Limit availability of Add to Reading List icon in Primo to signed in users/specific user group
We would like to be able to choose to only display the "Add to Reading List" icon in the "Send to" action options in Primo (See attached) if the user is currently signed in or if the signed in user is part of a specific UserGroup, for example, a STAFF UserGroup.

Display related title electronic / physical availability in Alma citation search
We rely on related records to enable all availability options to display where different formats have separate bib records (as a citation can only be resource located to one record at a time). It would be useful if a 'Related' availability tab could appear in Alma alongside Physical, Electronic, Digital and Other.

Use Analytics to surface information on user activity in My Collection
We would like to use Analytics to see user activity in My Collection, for example how many times a title has been added to My Collection (but not necessarily added to a reading list).

Chapter number and author to display more prominently
We would like the citation chapter number and author to be displayed alongside the chapter title (slightly larger, bold font).
Currently these fields display on the second line alongside the book title and publisher information, which lacks clarity (see attachment).

Copy multiple sections
Would it be possible to copy multiple sections from one list to another?

Option to hide panels
Would it be possible for the top and left panels to be visible as default, with the option for the user to hide them using the tabs (rather than making them hidden as default)?

Drag citations from list into My Collection
Could functionality be added so that citations which appear in lists can be copied to My Collection by drag and drop (rather than via options > copy to collection).
This seems logical, as you can do the reverse action to copy a citation from My Collection to a list via drag and drop.

Additional citation type for Clinical Guidelines
Could this be added as a new citation type option? It would be useful for academic staff in health-related disciplines who utilise guidelines published by organisations such as NICE (https://www.nice.org.uk/).

View course name when selecting list in Cite It
Currently you can only view the list name and course code. Instructors won't always be able to identify the correct list here, as they might not know the course code and their list might have a generic name ("Reading List") which does not offer any indication of the course.

Customise tag appearance
Different colours could be used to differentiate and emphasise the various tags we have created.

Allow tags to be added in Cite It
Would it be possible to assign tags to citations directly from the Cite It window, rather than having to locate them in Leganto and tag afterwards?

Instructor / list owner to receive notification when list and/or all list citations marked complete
It would be useful for the instructor to know when all citations have been dealt with by library staff so that they can then choose to publish their list (rather than making the list available to students despite some items not being obtainable).
