  5. Add a Dark Mode Option for Long Reading Sessions

I spend a lot of time browsing Rosetta discussions and reading feedback threads, especially at night, and I think a proper dark mode would make the experience much more comfortable. A darker interface could reduce eye strain and make longer sessions easier on laptops and mobile devices.

It would also be great if users could choose between:

    Light mode
    Dark mode
    System default sync

A lot of modern platforms already support this, and it would be a really welcome quality-of-life improvement for regular users.

  6. Help me!!!

Has Ex Libris considered adding an AI-assisted duplicate detection and metadata reconciliation workflow inside Alma/Primo that can automatically identify conflicting local records, community zone updates, and suppressed resources before synchronization? In large academic consortia, we often see situations where locally enriched MARC fields are overwritten during CZ updates or discovery normalization, forcing librarians to build manual workarounds. A configurable ‘pre-merge validation layer’ with rollback history, field-level conflict alerts, and institution-specific preservation rules could dramatically reduce catalog maintenance time while improving trust in automated updates. Has the product team explored anything like this, especially for multi-campus environments using shared discovery indexes…

  8. How does Rosetta implement itself in its operations?

Rosetta operates by combining technology, immersive learning approaches, and user-centered teaching methodologies. The platform is intended to provide learners with an interactive and practical language-learning experience. Rosetta's daily operations include visual learning, audio accompaniment, and real-life communication exercises rather than depending solely on translation and memorization. This method helps learners to acquire the target language in a manner akin to first-language acquisition.

Speech recognition technology is one of the primary means by which Rosetta operates. The system analyzes users' pronunciation and delivers timely feedback to help them improve their speaking skills. This operational feature fosters ongoing practice and helps learners…

  9. How does Rosetta support the practical phase?

Rosetta facilitates the practical part by allowing students to use their language skills in real-world circumstances. Rosetta's interactive exercises encourage users to practice listening, speaking, reading, and writing rather than just memorizing grammar and vocabulary. This hands-on method helps learners gain confidence and enhance their communication skills in everyday situations.

Speech recognition technology is a vital approach for Rosetta to support the practical phase. Learners are instructed to say words and sentences, and the technology provides rapid feedback on pronunciation correctness. This allows users to practice speaking until they become more fluent. As a result, students can improve their pronunciation…

  11. Suggestion: Enhanced File-Level Export and Workflow Automation in Rosetta

I would like to propose an improvement for Ex Libris Rosetta to enhance usability and efficiency in daily workflows. Currently, Rosetta provides strong capabilities for managing and preserving digital assets, but working at the file level can still be limited in certain scenarios. For example, exporting entire Intellectual Entities (IEs) is supported, yet more granular control at the file level would significantly improve flexibility for users handling large or complex collections.

It would be very beneficial to introduce a feature that allows users to export specific sets of files based on criteria such as file type, identifiers, or metadata filters.…

  13. Use AI to adapt lessons based on user mistakes and pace

AI can be used to personalize the learning experience by continuously adapting lessons based on each user’s mistakes and pace. By analyzing errors and response patterns, the system can identify weak areas and adjust difficulty, content, and repetition accordingly. This ensures that learners spend more time on what they struggle with while progressing faster through familiar material, making the overall experience more efficient and engaging. sprunki phase 3
