menu tile urls must be customizable by language
Currently its not possible to define language specific URLs in the Backoffice for the main menu tile.
Localization in Primo is possible for nearly all labels and functionalities and we think this is a must have.
Thank you for this suggestion. this was released in Primo in May 2019 release and planned for Primo VE.

It's useful that german language is possible to use for german users.

Dear @VeronikaLeitner thats the issue: You can't insert different URLs there... (We are on MTE with the February 2018 Release)

Dear all, we use the "Interface Language" option for that (Views Wiz. > Main Menu Tile).
This allows us to either use html-files that are language specific, or to just enter different labels/URLs. -

In Switzerland it is a must to have multilingual websites - so language sensitive links are a must, too.

Thanks for putting this idea, Johannes. This is certainly an idea that multilanguage institutions should support!

Here is a use case to emphasize the issue:
Think of a modern university that offers webpages in their local language(s) and in english. Consequently, the whole Primo is localized to have respective texts in french, german and english (i.e. field names, texts, scope definitions, ...).
As for the links in the main menu you can't insert specific links to the german/english/french
pages of the university, e.g. the help files in the universities' CMS.Patrons that switch to a language that they are more fluent in will be puzzled to be directed to foreign language pages from the main menu.
