    Can't attach images when editing a post.

    Here's the comparison between deduplication off (7 versions - the 2nd edition is the one which is missing) and deduplication on (6 versions, claiming that the 2nd edition is the one available in 4 libraries).

    "Global Title Index (GTI)

    Index of records from institutions that are Rapido members. When selecting the global index, you are actually searching in the Discovery Rapido Global Title Index + CDI."

    The problem is that the titles can't be suppressed when the patrons have no way to get to the full text.

    Which also means: we have several facet types that would make more sense sorted alphabetically, but we can't use that setting because of the limited number of facets.

    We struggle with this, too.

    I would prefer to show 245 $c in our short title display, but then we don't see author names for the CDI titles.

    From Ex Libris, January 2025:

    "I’d like to clarify that CDI records differ from MARC or local records in Alma. Content in the Central Discovery Index (CDI) is ingested from various formats, including MARC, XML, XLS, OAI, and others. During this process, metadata is mapped using schemas specifically tailored to each provider’s feed. This ensures metadata is standardized and optimized for efficient discovery, resulting in the creation of CDI/Primo Normalized XML (PNX) records.

    Currently, we display primary authors (PNX code: creator), as well as book editors and dissertation advisers (contributors). Additional roles may be included but are used solely for search purposes and are not displayed.

    Unfortunately, displaying the Attribution (Statement of Responsibility – 245$c) as part of the title is not supported at this time. Implementing such functionality would require submitting an enhancement idea through our Idea Exchange platform for community voting."
