Added at the suggestion of Ex Libris Support (ticket 06683422).
Our institution allows patrons to request digitization from Archives locations. However, because Archives material is often idiosyncratic, staff need to contact the patron for clarification in around 80% of these requests. We would like the option to send a query to patrons directly from Alma, with the request information attached, instead of having to get their email and email them manually.
We are already able to do this for ILL requests via Rapido, and it is helpful for keeping all information and correspondence in one place, as well as streamlining workflows.
