During our migration to Esploro this topic was raised, and we were advised that there would be functionality to allow a local lookup that sat next to, or instead of, the Sherpa/Romeo lookup. Having said this, now that I've used the Sherpa lookup I wouldn't want to replace it with a local lookup. Using the licence feature is an interesting option and one that I will investigate further, although we have received hundreds of local permissions and I don't want to make the licences too cumbersome to use.

I realise this has been done for affiliations, but it would be good to also have this for creator role as well.

This would be very welcome, especially for internal promotion rounds where a CV is required to be included with the promotion application.

We also run into this issue for executive that have a generic email (such as "headofschool@usc.edu.au") that they wish to use instead of their personal email.

This would be good. We also have a user for 'ineligible' assets so that we don't have to investigate them again if the researcher re-submits. It would be good to be able to filter these off as well when searching for legitimate deposits.

A feature such as this would save us a lot of time, where we currently need to delete (which isn't a quick task in itself!) and readd to the other section. Much needed.

This is totally needed in order to make these forms acceptable for use in our institution. Particularly the ability to remove the co-authors field from the form.

An update: Ex Libris suggested using the Asset Licences section to store local copyright permissions. While we can do this and have been advised that there is no limit to the number of licences we can add, the copyright statement does not print out on the PDF coverpage. Therefore this is not a solution to storing local copyright permissions.
