Having said this, now that I've used the Sherpa lookup I wouldn't want to replace it with a local lookup. Using the licence feature is an interesting option and one that I will investigate further, although we have received hundreds of local permissions and I don't want to make the licences too cumbersome to use.

An error occurred while saving the comment Rebecca Cooke commentedI realise this has been done for affiliations, but it would be good to also have this for creator role as well.

An error occurred while saving the comment Rebecca Cooke commentedThis would be very welcome, especially for internal promotion rounds where a CV is required to be included with the promotion application.

An error occurred while saving the comment Rebecca Cooke commentedThis would be very welcome at our institution, as would linking media mentions to other entities, such as projects.

An error occurred while saving the comment Rebecca Cooke commentedWe also run into this issue for executive that have a generic email (such as "headofschool@usc.edu.au") that they wish to use instead of their personal email.

An error occurred while saving the comment Rebecca Cooke commentedThis would be good. We also have a user for 'ineligible' assets so that we don't have to investigate them again if the researcher re-submits. It would be good to be able to filter these off as well when searching for legitimate deposits.

An error occurred while saving the comment Rebecca Cooke commentedA feature such as this would save us a lot of time, where we currently need to delete (which isn't a quick task in itself!) and readd to the other section. Much needed.

An error occurred while saving the comment Rebecca Cooke commentedThis is totally needed in order to make these forms acceptable for use in our institution. Particularly the ability to remove the co-authors field from the form.

Removing the "accepted" status so that institution can continue voting as agreed with the PWG.
An error occurred while saving the comment Rebecca Cooke commentedHi Tami, last time we tested this both the DC and QDC produced the same output, which is why I think it is unusable for harvesting. If the QDC could be mapped with greater granularity, that may work.

An error occurred while saving the comment Rebecca Cooke commentedHi Dan, I would expect all core publication metadata (parent publication, publisher, date, ISBN/ISSN, conference information) to be copied over as well as the editors if there are any. The authors, title, page numbers, abstract, keywords, etc, would be blank. Thanks, Bec

An update: Ex Libris suggested using the Asset Licences section to store local copyright permissions. While we can do this and have been advised that there is no limit to the number of licences we can add, the copyright statement does not print out on the PDF coverpage. Therefore this is not a solution to storing local copyright permissions.
