Allow multiple urls to Esploro
Esploro can perform multiple functions including faculty profiles, institutional repository, and managing ETD submissions. These functions are distinct and descriptive urls are needed to help user communication. A couple of cases:
Faculty: A faculty member has created a profile for public access. The url of facultyprofile.univ.edu would be appropriate and helpful
Graduate student: A person has completed their thesis and needs to submit. The submission also needs to go through an approval process. In this case submit-etd.univ.edu or similar would be appropriate and helpful.
Researcher: An external researcher wants to view the university created assets. In this case ir.univ.edu would…

Resources in Esploro duplicated in Primo VE
Resources inserted in Esploro are duplicated in Primo VE when a bibliographic record for the same work exists in Alma or in other collections.
We are proposing that the deduplication process, used in Primo VE for other record sources, wolud be used also for Esploro resources59 votesDear Colleagues,

Automated emailing of registered DOIs to ETD authors
Add a scheduled job that automatically emails ETD authors the DOI registered in Esploro for their thesis/dissertation using the email address imported from ETD Admin. Otherwise the DOI is created for the work, but the authors don't even know the DOI exists.

Removing the "accepted" status so that institution can continue voting as agreed with the PWG.
