Faculty: A faculty member has created a profile for public access. The url of facultyprofile.univ.edu would be appropriate and helpful

Graduate student: A person has completed their thesis and needs to submit. The submission also needs to go through an approval process. In this case submit-etd.univ.edu or similar would be appropriate and helpful.

Researcher: An external researcher wants to view the university created assets. In this case ir.univ.edu would be helpful.
