Selectors not notified when title(s) rejected
I have the roles/permissions to approve/reject titles placed in Rialto's select cart. However, when I reject titles the selector isn't notified; as far as they know, it's going ahead. I need to contact the person, list the title(s), and explain why they were rejected. I'm frankly astounded that Market doesn't do this automatically.

Multiple selectors
Librarian selectors like that they can see if a title they would like to order is already awaiting approval. However, they would like to be able to go to the orders awaiting approval and add their name as an additional selector on that item to give it "weight/priority" to order by the Rialto manager. Could there be a way to add additional selector names as a +1 on orders awaiting approval?
3 votesHello Amanda,
Would the ability to add comments to orders awaiting approval cover this request? You could post a comment, tag the approver, they'd receive an email letting them know you've posted a note.
Thank you for your suggestion.

Move items in bulk from Orders Awaiting Approval to a list
Currently titles in "Orders Awaiting Approval" can't be sent to a list in bulk. The only option is to "Reject" them and then send them to a list one at a time. One example of when this would be useful is titles that are not yet published. They currently sit waiting sometimes for months and just create clutter. Not to mention I don't want to "reject" them. It would help tremendously if I could move them in bulk to a list.

Specific Days for Title Alerts to Run
Be able to set a specific day of the week for each title alert to run so I can run/review similar groups at the same time. Currently my title alerts are all set to a review day of Sunday but they seem to pull based on the day of the week they were created not on the review day.

Add Templates to Cart defaults (Title Alerts)
To be able to add existing cart templates at a title alert level to the cart defaults tab instead of manually adding it to each title alert. Currently I apply the template when it has been added to the cart which limits me to working on one area at a time.

Transfer Multiple Items from Cart To List
There is no way to mass transfer all the items in a cart onto a list. Items can only be sent from the cart to a list one at a time. I think it would be beneficial to have the ability do a bulk transfer of an entire cart to a list.

Update expected date in Alma
I'd like the expected date to update in Alma automatically when the publication date is moved and that information is updated in Rialto market place or via an order status report. Also, some sort of criteria added so that an expected date can never be set to occur before a predicted publish date (i.e. to eliminate the overdue order flag in the Alma task widget if the item doesn't arrive within the set acquisitions time frame when the publication date is months away.)

Add Publisher to brief record view in market search
We'd like the publisher to show up on the brief record view in a market search without needing to click on the record to bring up the complete details.

Add to facet the shipped to customer order status
It would be useful to filter to the "Shipped to Customer" order status when viewing the order history search results. Right now, I need to click on each record to view the shipped info.

Improved cover image display in results list and offer details
While it is nice to have cover images for titles on the results list and offer details, it would be useful to be able to view a larger version of the thumbnail in display. (This type of pop out/over display is common with most book vendor websites.) Some book covers are very detailed and the details aren't all easily reflected in the associated offer's display, so being able to see a larger view of the cover may help with identification and selection. Currently, clicking on the cover image thumbnail in the results list brings up the offer, and clicking on…

Ability to Set Parameters in Purchase Request Forms
We have a preferred set of publishers, platforms, and/or vendors that buy eBooks from. Currently, there is no way to set up Purchase Request Forms for our users to request ONLY from those preferred sellers.
It would be great if there was a way to define our preferred publishers (and even other facets) in the Purchase Request Form configuration, so we don't have to deny a ton of incoming requests.

Author Affiliation should only show when author is employed by the institution
We like to purchase books published by our faculty, but Author Affiliation also tags where an author received a degree (any degree), without differentiating between the two different affiliations.

Indicate if a book is available through EBA/DDA in Rialto
There should be a badge to indicate if a book is available through some collective purchase program. This way, one may see if a certain program has many requested titles, and might consider buying the whole bundle.

New format available notification
Sometimes our librarians put titles on their personal lists, but want to wait until they come out in paperback before ordering. Is there a way for them to sign up to receive a notification when a new format becomes available for order or in stock on a specific title?

Email Alerts for Order Rejections
When an order is rejected, the selector should be emailed an alert instead of solely relying on the notifications section of Alma. Selectors often don't think to check notifications in Alma. There are already title alert notifications via email so this functionality should not require much development.
