  1. For Cancelled eBook Orders: Automatically Cancel Purchase Order Lines (POLs) and delete portfolios

    Currently when a Rialto eBook order is cancelled by Rialto due to lack of availability, the purchase order line remains open and the portfolio that Rialto added for the anticipated purchase remains in the Institution Zone. This requires manual staff cleanup.

    Please develop functionality to automatically cancel these purchase order lines and delete the portfolios. This already happens for cancelled print Rialto orders and should also occur for cancelled ebook orders.

    Thank you all for your feedback on this enhancement request! The Rialto and Alma teams have reviewed this idea and it is a candidate for a future release.

    Functionality is in place for auto-cancelling POL's (and removing inventory) for ebooks that are not linked to the Community Zone.   2. Add the information format (EPUB or PDF) for Ebook in Rialto Marketplace

    Please add the information format : EPUB or PDF for each ebooks would be helpful! I got this answer from the support:"I've talked to the PM and we don't get that information from publishers currently so there won't be a way to implement this in Rialto.

    It is actually on an internal development wishlist and we will include that information as soon as we can. That said, because it isn't in the cards for at least a year and it is already a development priority it doesn't make sense to re-open the ideas exchange suggestion."

  3. Allow setting Temporary Item Location from Cart/Templates

    Hello,
    Currently, when filling out order details/applying a template to an item in a Rialto cart, there is only one field where users are able to set a location: "Shelving Library/Location".
    This field appears to apply to the resulting item's permanent location. It would be helpful if we were also able to set a temporary location from the cart/templates.

    KinoDen is not currently available as a source publisher for ebooks in Rialto Market Offers. Please add KinoDen to the options available on the New Platform Activation form, to support requesting activation of this new publisher platform for ordering in Rialto.

  6. Please enable filtering within Order History to identify ebooks which have been activated/not activated

    We want to be able to identify any titles that remain unactivated so that we can manually resolve (or report) without having to scroll through order history.

  8. e-mail list to another user

    When you send a list for approval in Rialto it places the individual titles in the cart. However, we would like to send the list to the approver before putting it in the cart. It would therefore be useful to have an alert which sends an e-mail to the approver alerting him that a list is ready for review before ordering.

  9. Delete shared lists in Rialto for all users

    When deleting a shared list in Rialto it is only possible to delete the list for oneself only. The list remains visible for all other user who had shared access. Would it be possible to add the option "delete for me" and "delete for everyone" . At present I have to un-share the list before I can delete it to make sure that no copies remain with colleagues

  10. Transfer Multiple Items from Cart To List

    There is no way to mass transfer all the items in a cart onto a list. Items can only be sent from the cart to a list one at a time. I think it would be beneficial to have the ability do a bulk transfer of an entire cart to a list.

  11. Move items in bulk from Orders Awaiting Approval to a list

    Currently titles in "Orders Awaiting Approval" can't be sent to a list in bulk. The only option is to "Reject" them and then send them to a list one at a time. One example of when this would be useful is titles that are not yet published. They currently sit waiting sometimes for months and just create clutter. Not to mention I don't want to "reject" them. It would help tremendously if I could move them in bulk to a list.

  12. Show title's language in ALL Rialto pages

    Currently, the language of the edition is specified in the market under the author when searching by the ISBN or title, and under the edition when you click the title. We propose that the language of the book be consistently displayed on all Rialto pages. There is no clear indication of the language on the page where we actually decide which edition to purchase (please see screenshot). The edition with the tag 'Purchased in Rialto' in the screenshot is actually a Russian title, even though the title is in English.

  13. Add Material Type field to the Purchase Request info displayed in Rialto

    When a Purchase Request is submitted via Primo and Acquisitions staff "search in market" the Purchase Request information shows to the right of the results list. Unfortunately Material Type is not included so there is no way to know if the patron requested a Print or Ebook copy of the book.

  14. Replace title in Selection Plan with alternate format

    Add a feature to the Selection Plan list to replace a selected title with an alternate format, e.g., if an unlimited user ebook is selected, to replace with a single user edition, or a print copy, etc. without having to reject the offer and manually add it via firm order.

  16. Selectors not notified when title(s) rejected

    I have the roles/permissions to approve/reject titles placed in Rialto's select cart. However, when I reject titles the selector isn't notified; as far as they know, it's going ahead. I need to contact the person, list the title(s), and explain why they were rejected. I'm frankly astounded that Market doesn't do this automatically.

  17. Price Change Alert

    Notify customers with an alert icon or popup when the price drops or increases for an item they have added to Cart or to a list.

    In order to avoid alerts indicating insignificant increase or decrease (of a few cents for example), each customer should have the possibility to configure an alert threshold (as a percentage in 'Other Settings') in relation to the time when the item was originally added to Cart or the list.

  18. Make Ordering Library in Rialto Default

    The 'Ordering Library' field in Rialto maps to the 'PO Line Owner' field in the POL. All of our PO Lines are owned by a single location, Technical Services. We would like to have the ability to set the 'Ordering Library' field in Rialto as a default or at minimum request that this field be sticky. Also, the terminology 'Ordering Library' is often confused with shelving location which is not the same for our institution.   19. Automatically remove titles that no long meet DDA Selection Plan criteria from Rialto DDA pool, Ebook Central/LibCentral and Alma repository

    When a DDA title increases in cost so it exceeds the maximum cost we set for our DDA, it becomes untriggerable and inaccessible on the Ebook Central platform, but the title remains in our DDA pool in Rialto and our Alma holdings, so users can find the title in Primo but cannot access it. Removing these titles requires a cumbersome manual workflow. This enhancement would make it so titles that no longer meet our DDA selection plan criteria are removed from our DDA pool automatically in Rialto, Ebook Central/LibCentral, and in the Alma repository.This would ensure users don't discover inaccessible…

  20. Allow Split Funding

    Please allow us to select multiple funds per purchase order. Our selectors often share costs on purchases. We currently have to place the order on one fund, then edit to split funds after purchase, but sometimes when funding is too low we aren't able to do this.
