Priority Rating for Title Alerts Recommendations
Currently, lecturers can only specify a book's purchasing priority via free-text notes, making it difficult for the acquisitions department to filter requests under budget constraints.
We propose adding a structured priority field (e.g., a 1-3 scale or a dropdown with "Essential, High, Optional") directly inside the Recommendation action.
This built-in rating will allow the library to easily sort requests, ensuring critical books are purchased immediately while lower-priority items are saved for future budget surpluses.1 vote
