Enable set-creation for citations, reading lists, and courses
At the moment, creating sets for Leganto to run jobs on is a pain - contratry to other indices in Alma you can't just click 'Save Query' and then run a job on the set.
No, you have to create a list either from an Excel export or Analytics and then create an itemized set from it.
This is extremely annoying because you have to create a new input list and a new set every time you need to run a job.
Please enable the creation of (logical) sets for citations, reading lists, and courses from a search in Alma (as it's possible for e.g. physical items, order lines and many others).

These have sort of been delivered, BUT there is inconsistency in whether an advanced search for the object-type can allow a set of the same type to be created, compared to whether the Analytics output (dimension/column headers) alone will work for set creation. The Analytics CoP have worked on the latter, but there is still a gap for Search outputs allowing sets to be created, as Was noted below in the make it easier to create sets of courses idea - looking forward to

I agree it would be useful to have the "Save and filter query" button on these search results page to.
As a timesaver in the meantime though, you can create sets for courses, reading lists and citations by going to Admin > Manage Sets > Add set and then running your search.
This isn't intuitive, in fact even though I use it a fair amount I still have to put some thought into remembering the process each time! So i definitely support adding the button to the normal search results pages too.

Agree, this is a real frustration for bulk handling of citations. Together with few fields in citation search/advanced search it makes management of lists and list items over time harder than it should be.

Wholeheartedly agree with this, it'd be a great time saver.
