Allow the exporting and importing of the appmanager settings between environments
We should be able to export and import the app manager settings/configuration between the development and live environments.
This would allow us to keep the two environments in sync and also allow us to test in development and then sync it to live without the possibility of human data entry errors.
80 votesWhile we understand the need for this feature, we've decided not to pursue its implementation.
Please note that Production is automatically cloned into Preview once a month if you'd like to have to synced environments to test with. Furthermore, the ability to copy configurations between environments is available for Product Integrations.

Advanced Search in Primo PI
There is no Advanced Search possibility in the Primo PI when using a smartphone in portrait mode. The Advanced Search feature is however accessible when using the smartphone in landscape mode or a tablet, i.e. when screens are a bit larger.
Please note that Advanced Search is accessible by default when using Primo UI in responsive mode on a smartphone. Compared to the responsive mode on a browser, the Primo PI in campusM is a regression.
72 votesThis is a request for Primo to modify the mobile view for campusM. We have introduced a slim line interface to facilitate research assistant (July 2025)

OpenStreetMap Support
In campusM/Library Mobile, we can add maps to the app by providing the GPS coordinates of the top-left and bottom-right corners. When end-users open one of these maps, it is launched in the device's native mapping application: Google Maps on Android, and Apple Maps or Google Maps on iOS.
We have been using this feature since the beginning; however, it has recently come into conflict with our institutional policy. Our university follows a strong open-science and open-infrastructure policy. We are therefore encouraged (if not expected) to use open solutions and integrations whenever possible. In this context, we are specifically asked…
57 votesWhile we understand the need behind this request, we have unfortunately decided not to move forward with this idea. As there is no up-to-date library that supports OpenStreetMaps on React Native, implementation of this idea would require diverting a majority of our mobile development resources, to the detriment of more impactful features.

Enable notifications to be sent either as push or non-push notification
Currently push notifications can either be enable, or disabled. If they are enabled, then ALL notifications are pushed (i.e. showing up on lock screen), if disabled, then ALL sent out notifications are in-app notifications (only showing in the tile counter when you open the app). It would be good to have a setting while creating a notification where you could select to either send it out as a push notification, or send it out as an in-app notification.
54 votesWhile we understand the need for this feature, after some user and customer research, we've decided not to pursue its implementation.

Add NFC support to ID Card, Wallet
Our student ID cards have RFID chips in them so that users can tap into door locks, turnstiles, dining, etc.
Can you explore NFC capabilities in the mobile app, similar to how hotels are doing keyless checkin with their apps?
Ideally, an iOS user could open the Student ID PI, see the Apple "Add To Wallet" icon, and use the NFC to tap into places.
49 votesWhile we understand the need for this feature, we've decided not to pursue its implementation at this time. Adding RFID to an app necessitates additional security requirement from Apple and Google - which would complicate the app submission process.

Ability to remove/hide search/share/feedback functionality
there is currently no way to remove or hide the native search, share, or feedback functionality. We would like to have the ability to remove or hide these native functionalities altogether, as the University has its own search and feedback mechanisms. Having these native CampusM functions always visible increases confusion with students, and ensure difficulty with our business processes, as we have to manage more different sources/functionalities for students.
42 votesThe ability to remove feedback functionality already exists in the app. We are currently not planning to enable the removal of the share or the search functionalities.

Analytics on Personalization
Now that users have the ability to hide tiles, we would like to see analytics on what tiles users (by role) have chosen to hide. IF we find that majority of our users have hidden specific tiles then we know its not important and we can choose to eliminate them. This is important for Feed/banner type tiles where user action (clicks) is not always necessary so tracking 'clicks' will not give you full picture of users that look at these tiles.

Make AEKs front-end configurable pages
Changes to AEKs currently require modification from Ex Libris. It would be helpful if AEKs would for the content-part of the pages would become manageable from within the App Manager. This would allow customers to modify text, edit links, change background pictures etc. without affecting the Integrations of the AEKs.
32 votesThis has been superseded with product integrations which are configurable through app manager.
-
Allow custom font app-wide
Currently we cannot make the app on-brand as we've been told that it is not possible to add custom fonts. Can this be added please?
30 votesWhile we understand the need for this feature, we've decided not to pursue its implementation.
Please note that a custom font can be configured for the home page and static content pages with CSS stylesheets. Other pages in the app cannot have their font configured.

Only show "Terms of Use" screen once (after initial install and login).
Only show Terms of Use screen once after initial install, not each time the user presses "Settings->Logout" and login again.
28 votesDue to the current login flow, the terms and conditions have to be shown before the user authenticates, so they know what they are authenticating against. As such this is a privacy consideration for our app.

Integration with ALMA open hours API
I would like to suggest an enhancement in CampusM/Library Mobile regarding Product Integrations.
We would like an integration with the ALMA open hours API:GET /almaws/v1/conf/libraries/{libraryCode}/open-hours
in order to create a "Library open hours" tile.
The main advantage for the user is to dynamically consult library open hours.
Furthermore, it would be useful for the library not to have to maintain a static page indicating library opening hours.26 votesWe've decided not to pursue this feature. Note that this can be done via AEK.

Enable Android App to be moved to SD
As a user of a device with limited storage, I would like to be able to move the campusM app to the external SD card
Android - Move to SD
Details are here - http://developer.android.com/guide/appendix/install-location.html
In summary advantage is as you state - disadvantage is that the running app will get killed if someone removes the sd card or connects their phone to their computer. Btw none of the items on the 'NOT' list apply to campusM.
13 votesThank you for your idea and comments. After careful consideration, the Product Development team have decided that this feature will not be incorporated into the campusM roadmap. With device developments continuing to enhance the baseline specifications for android devices, the need for this functionality is quickly disappearing. This coupled with the inherent risk and possible depreciation in performance resulting from use of a 3rd party SD card means we unfortunately must decline this request.

Ability to Print a page
Need the ability for users to print a page from within an app with only the contents. Use case#1: student views his/her class schedule (time table) that lists out all the classes, meeting days, location, etc.
Case#2: we display unofficial transcript and user needs a hardcopy to provide to their employer or other 3rd party for verification that they are actively taking classes or successfully completed a course.Currently if you print out a page, everything that is shown on the screen prints, including header/footer, tiles, and other html elements.

Expand the native feedback functionality to allow for categories and multiple e-mail recipients
The native feedback functionality only allows for rating / free text to be collected. Please expand this functionality similar functionality for the problems, where different categories of feedback (and corresponding e-mail addresses to send this feedback to) can be created in the App Manager. Our students do not only want to provide the feedback about the app, but about the entire student portal and anything to do with their uni life. Similarly, these different types of feedback need to be handled by different parts of the business.
20 votesWhile we understand the need for this feature, we have chosen not to pursue its implementation.

Export to Calendar
As an app user, I would like to be able to export a whole day or week to my calendar, so that I don't need to choose 'Add To Calendar' individually for each event
The 'Add To Calendar' inside the Timetable is a great feature, to increase this functionality it might be good to have an Export the Day or Export the Week to Calendar, to save adding each one. Although exporting it all would mean decreasing the user base, forcing the exporting of each individual slot annoys the user so a compromise might be good.
15 votesThank you for your idea and comments. After careful consideration, the Product Development team have decided that this feature will not be incorporated into the campusM roadmap. Instead, we are investing development time in enhancing the timetabling and calendaring services in the app, so student are more inclined to use the app on a regular basis.
-
Impersonation Function
Allow impersonation - so a user would be able to 'impersonate' another user by entering their email address, then for a limited time in the app the impersonated email address would be returned instead of their own.
18 votesFor security reasons we will not be undertaking this development idea

Add email field to feedback form
Can we add a field to the feedback form that asks for an email/BlazerID? We are getting requests/issues reported, but sometimes we only have the anonymous email attached with the report so the only way to reach back out is through push notifications.
