  1. Add id card to Google Wallet like Apple Wallet functionality

Currently using the ID Card would only allow the adding of the ID Card to Apple Wallet, there's no equivalent for wallets on Android, with a large chuck of the student body using Android devices can this feature be added as we're left with either a two tier system for students or turning it off for all

While we understand the need behind this request, we have decided not to pursue this feature. Google's requirement around Wallet IDs with images, which is the requirement at most universities, exceeds our current capabilities as an organisation.

  2. OpenStreetMap Support

In campusM/Library Mobile, we can add maps to the app by providing the GPS coordinates of the top-left and bottom-right corners. When end-users open one of these maps, it is launched in the device's native mapping application: Google Maps on Android, and Apple Maps or Google Maps on iOS.

We have been using this feature since the beginning; however, it has recently come into conflict with our institutional policy. Our university follows a strong open-science and open-infrastructure policy. We are therefore encouraged (if not expected) to use open solutions and integrations whenever possible. In this context, we are specifically asked…

While we understand the need behind this request, we have unfortunately decided not to move forward with this idea. As there is no up-to-date library that supports OpenStreetMaps on React Native, implementation of this idea would require diverting a majority of our mobile development resources, to the detriment of more impactful features.

  3. Incentivize the app

Wondered if any colleges added a badge or rewards system to encourage student engagement through myECC Experience app?

While we understand the need for gamification of engagement, we have decided not to implement it. The complexity involved in triggering badge accumulation and genericizing it across multiple institutions make this difficult to implement in a way that will provide enough value to justify the effort required.

  4. Add Audit Log of changes made

We would like to request the implementation of an audit logging feature within CampusM to track administrative changes made to key components such as:

    Banners
    Events
    Integrations
    Other configurable elements

    Purpose:
This enhancement is intended to improve transparency, accountability, and security within the platform. Specifically, it will help:

Identify the source of issues when configurations are changed or broken.
Verify unauthorized access or changes, especially in cases where users may have elevated permissions they shouldn't.
Support troubleshooting and rollback efforts by providing a clear history of changes.

    Requirements:

    Log entries should include:

    Timestamp of the change
    Username or identifier of…

  5. Please Address the Asset Manager Caching issue

Please address the Asset Manager Caching issue.
When adding (re-adding) files of the same name the current caching configuration prevents the new image/file from getting recognized. This results in additional effort for the user and/or multiple assets with similarly names files. The most common use case is designing a tile image - making small tweaks to the image and re-adding (uploading) the file is a futile exercise due to the current, and known, caching issue.

While we understand the need for this feature, we have decided not to implement it, as this would negatively effect the performance of the app.

When updating an asset, we recommend to upload the image with a different name (e.g. image_v2.png, image_v3.png, etc) to avoid this issue, as documented here:

    https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/campusM/Product_Documentation/Managing_the_App_and_Its_Services/01_Uploading_Files#:~:text=As%20noted%20in,on%20the%20device.

  6. My Profile - Configuration

Investigating the potential use of the My Profile feature, I have come across the following issues which I have been advised (by Ex Libris support) to raise as enhancements here:

    1. The web app does not reflect the addition/removal of tagged tiles (as per the preferences selected) on refresh. I have to sign/out in to trigger this. This is in contrast to the mobile app, where use of the refresh icon does update the display.

    2. The personal details that come through on the profile are pulled from our Active Directory, which are not editable by the user (and the edit icon…

  7. Allow Calendar icon to be turned off by profile

Allow Calendar icon to be turned off by profile - currently this appears to be defined by if profile requires authentication or not. Our profile for new students does require authentication, but as it is not possible to show their induction schedule in the calendar, the Calendar icon has no purpose and will cause confusion.

  8. Allow 1/2 height tiles

Currently the thinnest height tile is 1, could a 1/2 height option be added so you can have a much thinner tile at the top would be especially useful for greeting where on a mobile if you wanted it to run across the top it's at least 1 tile height high and with about 5 tile heights filling a mobile screen a good morning/afternoon/evening message taking up 20% of real estate on opening the app on mobile is a bit excessive

While we understand the need for this feature, we have decided to not implement it at this time.

Note that you may configure a smaller maximum size for tiles, and use larger 2x2 tiles instead of 1x1s, which will provide the same effect.

  9. Support Ellucian Web API Version 2.0+

Ellucian is no longer supporting Colleague Web API version 1 as of 6/26/2025 as stated here: https://elluciansupport.service-now.com/customer_center?id=community_Blog&sys_id=d6c7848183126a10926912d0deaad33e

CampusM delivered integrations relying on Colleague Web API connections is not functioning correctly on Colleague Web API version 2.0+. The integrations having this issue includes Timetable and Holds. After speaking with the ExLibris support team, there is currently no plan to support version 2, however we need to have the integration updated for security purposes. Please add support to Colleague Web API version 2.0+

  11. Events - Badge Notifications and read/unread indicators

    Feature Request:
It would be incredibly helpful if the Events Tile could include a Badge Notification for newly added events. In addition, a “read/unread” indicator next to each event. This way, if an event is updated (change of location or time), it could automatically revert to an “unread” status, helping students stay informed and updated without being overwhelmed through push notifications.

    Reason:
Given the volume of university events across all faculties, we currently publish events through the Events product integration rather than using alerts or announcements. Sending individual alerts for each event would likely overwhelm students and lead to notification…

  12. App Manager - Single Log Out

The front end CampusM platform performs a full single log-out (SLO) when a user clicks 'log out'.
However, the same process is not applied to 'log out' in App Manager. This was identified following implementation of single sign on (SSO) for App Manager recently and would be a beneficial addition to the platform to increase security.

  13. Enhance counter to track interactions for anonymous users

Right now, for profiles with anonymous authentication (i.e., users who aren’t logged in), the system doesn’t update the counter when they see an alert because it can’t track who they are. This means even though anonymous users view the alert, the counter doesn’t reflect that.

We’re specifically looking to address this for our Experience Day profile, which doesn’t require any login. It would be really helpful if the counter could still register when an anonymous user sees the alert. We need this for tracking engagement during Experience Days, where users won’t necessarily be logged in.

    While we understand the need…

  14. Widgets on mobile

The ability to add widgets to the home/lockscreen on iOS and Android. Ideas include:
    - The next upcoming class (time/event title/location)
    - An overview of the current day's classes
    - Attendance check-in
    - Upcoming events

  15. Timetable Integration - Profile-Based (Language based) in mobile app

    Description:
We currently use the Timetable - Class Schedule integration in both English and Latvian, which is designed to control calendar display based on user roles. However, this approach poses a challenge for students who are assigned roles in both languages—resulting in both calendars appearing simultaneously.

    Proposed Enhancement:
We kindly request the addition of a configurable parameter to the integration that would allow the calendar to display according to the selected profile language rather than relying solely on user roles. This parameter would filter and display only the calendar that matches the user's chosen language, providing a cleaner and more…

This will be workaroundable once Role Logic is implemented - you could display a calendar to users that have one role and not another, or only user that have both, etc.

  16. Tile config 'OnClick' action functionality for mobile

We've received user feedback indicating that it's difficult to tell if a Tile has been clicked in the mobile app, especially when the linked content takes a long time to load. In these cases, users may think that their click was not registered.

We propose adding a feature to the CampusM App Builder that allows for dynamic tile design changes upon user clicks. Similar to the existing 'Hover Border Color' option in the 'Tile Config' section, but this would function on a 'click' action within the mobile app.

If the app is taking so long to respond that users are complaining that they don't know whether a tile was clicked or not - this is a defect. Please open a support case regarding this slow response time.

  17. Support special characters in RSS CDATA

Instead of displaying an umlaut over the "u" in "Bilingue" for an event in Events & Activities, the app displayed the word as "Bilingüe" The umlaut is displayed correctly in the college's event feed; it is not correctly displayed in the app. Please consider this enhancement request.

This was resolved as a bug in the November 2025 release. See: https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/campusM/campusM_Release_Notes/2025/campusM_2025_Release_Notes?mon=202511BASE#:~:text=November%202025%20Platform%3A%20Web%20SF%20%3A%2007933590%0AIn%20some%20areas%20of%20the%20app%2C%20characters%20with%20diacritics%20(e.g.%20%C3%B1%2C%20%C3%A9)%20were%20not%20displayed%20correctly.%20This%20was%20fixed.

  18. MyAdvisor - Add Additional Fields

I am conscious of the two fields that can be populated (i.e. the 'name' and 'email' fields via RESTful API Vendor). However, is it in some way possible to incorporate an additional field? We would like to provide students the ability to click through to a bookings link for their tutor. CampusM provides this functionality in the Task Board Product Integration (see image attached) where you can specify additional fields and whether or not they are a link - replicating this functionality would be ideal if possible!

  19. My Profile - enable each Link to be assigned to an App Role

In My Profile please could you enable each Link to be assigned to one or more App Roles to enable us to provide Profile Links for Students / Types of Students or Staff.

At the moment we have student Profile links being seen by staff and some Profile links for UK campus students being seen by our overseas campuses.

While we understand the need behind this request, we have decided not to pursue this feature due to lack of community support.

Note that you may create multiple "My Profile" instances that are already configured per profile.

  20. Home Page Banners - Configurable Limit

It would be very useful if there were App Manager configuration available for Home Page Banners, to allow us to set a limit for the amount of banners that can be added overall or assigned to a role (or combination of roles) at any one time.

This would help support appropriate usage of the feature (that is not always achieved on a 'trust' basis with admin users), ensuring that not too many banners were on show at the same time (that could overwhelm students) and maintaining the visibility of those active in the time the user remains on the Home…
