My Profile - Configuration
Investigating the potential use of the My Profile feature, I have come across the following issues which I have been advised (by Ex Libris support) to raise as enhancements here:
The web app does not reflect the addition/removal of tagged tiles (as per the preferences selected) on refresh. I have to sign/out in to trigger this. This is in contrast to the mobile app, where use of the refresh icon does update the display.
The personal details that come through on the profile are pulled from our Active Directory, which are not editable by the user (and the edit icon correctly does not appear). However, the 'Personal Details' item from the left menu is unresponsive when clicked when in another area of the feature, even to use this as a navigational tool back to the main page.
We are unable to surface the users official University photo here due to technical setup, but I cannot remove the 'anonymous' image icon or the 'Profile Photo' menu item from the left-hand list.
In the mobile app the menu does not appear. It would be good if we could have configuration to turn this on/off as required across both the web and mobile app, allowing us to minimise the issues noted above within the web app.
In both the web and mobile app, the email address in the personal details area at the top is a live link and when clicked/tapped generates an email. However, this email is to 'yourself', so has no value as a live link.

While we understand the need behind this request, we have decided not to pursue this feature due to lack of community support.
