How can we improve campusM?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Lecturer view and edit check-in history for greater than 28 days

    Throughout each semester, our support team receives a recurring volume of instructor requests asking to view their complete class attendance history. Currently, the system caps this view at 28 days (4 weeks).

    Because most semesters run roughly 14 weeks, instructors are forced to submit admin support tickets whenever they need full-semester records for grading, compliance, or student outreach.

    To reduce unnecessary support overhead for both our teams and CampusM support, we request increasing this default attendance visibility limit to 98 days. This would allow instructors self-service access to an entire term's worth of data.

  2. Search Button (bottom of app) remove or customize

    Please allow us to remove or customize the "Search Button" at the bottom of the app. Ideally we could aim it at our Primo VE search instead of functions within the app. Second best choice would be to allow us to remove the "search" option. Having a search that does not go to our Primo VE results is a real pain point for out user experience.

  3. Display time zone information for event times

    It would be helpful to display a brief note or label near event times indicating which time zone is being used, such as “Times are displayed in your device’s local time zone.” This would provide users with clearer context and help prevent confusion when viewing events. This is a pain point for our org.

  4. UX enhancement: Make return‑to‑today action more obvious on Timetable/Calendar

    Although the functionality exists via the calendar icon, it is not very discoverable, and users may not realise that this is how they can return to today’s date.

    It would be helpful to introduce a clearly visible control (e.g. a “Today” button) to allow users to quickly return to today’s date, similar to the behaviour in the iPhone Calendar or Microsoft Teams mobile calendar (see attached screenshots: iPhone Calendar on the left, Teams Mobile Calendar on the right).
