Allow the exporting and importing of the appmanager settings between environments
We should be able to export and import the app manager settings/configuration between the development and live environments.
This would allow us to keep the two environments in sync and also allow us to test in development and then sync it to live without the possibility of human data entry errors.

You should be able to search both fields in one search

Delete/recall a notification once it has been sent
Because typos, linking errors, bad display, etc. can always occur in notifications, even if notification managers have been very careful, admins should have the possibility to recall or delete a Group or Individual notification from the Notification Center once it has been sent. Once deleted from the Notification Center, then the notification should also be deleted on the end-user side, in the app (Android, iOS or web).

Ability to create dynamic or nested roles
As we look to offer features that serve more focused user groups we find that the creation and management of roles gets more and more complex.
Rather than make an existing role nested (e.g. campus > year of study), we have to create multiple variations (e.g. campus + year one, campus +year two, campus + year three etc). This can lead to a lot of roles and makes it very difficult to manage - if we were to set up roles for each year of study, across 6 colleges, 3 types of study and 4 campuses in the current structure…

Scheduling for app publishing
the work flow is a simple one our user add content
App Setting > Content > any content area
For this to be available in the app you have to go to
App settings > Publish Content > select all the All options
As you only want to publish content when you are ready, and we have many authors. We have a process that says we publish at 8am and 12 noon. But a human has to do this.
I would like it to be automated so we can schedule content publishing.

Sharing - On/Off Configuration
At present it is not possible to show/hide the Sharing options in full or by each individual platform. This would be useful to allow us to adopt/hide as appropriate.
It would also be useful for us to have access to manage the sharing option for each platform - At present we only have access to configure the option for Email and Twitter - We have no control over the Facebook option.

Send notifications to users who are in one Group AND another Group
We are keen to use Notifications to target groups of students like:
All second years in a department
All UGs in a department
Students who are in the second year of a programme
Students who are on a module
Students who are taking at least one of a set of modulesCurrently we have groups based on our departments, year groups and level of study. We can send a notification to a single group of these but we don’t have a use case for this.
What we need to be able to select groups using AND. So the notification goes…

User Permission Search/Report
Would it be possible to deliver a feature whereby we can search by user permission and present in a list of search results which user accounts have that permission assigned.
Similarly, could there be a search by Content area to identify which users had access to edit them.
Then finally, could there be an option to export a report to show all the permissions & content access assigned to every user to support a regular security review.
At present all of the above can only be achieved by manually checking every user account which is not feasible.

Content History
Would it be possible to offer a history of Content page updates so we can track:
- Who created a page & when
- Who last updated a page & when
- A full history of who updated the page in the past and when
- What amendments were made to the page each time.
Activity history is recorded within some pages within App Manager but not all and this would be a useful addition to support the identification of training needs.

Quick Polls - Add a facility for users to anonymise their response on submission
Within the Quick Poll creation page we can choose to set a poll as 'anonymous' but this doesn't allow users to submit anonymously on polls where we haven't selected this option. Some users are more likely to submit if they feel their data is not gathered alongside and all feedback is valuable.

Review changes before publishing
Before publishing any new content, aek etc to the app it would be useful to be able to view a breakdown of what changes have been made since the last publish.

feedback
Enable an institution to customize the app manager feedback such that it can be redirected to a different feedback solution for ideas.
The current feedback mechanism is very basic. There is no capability for a user to see if idea an idea has already been posted or to vote on ideas. We want to instead direct users to a feedback portal (like this one) where they can see what other ideas have been raised and vote on.

Allow for App Builder only (non-user-facing) menu option description
When we have to create two version of a tile (such as LDAP vs. SSO or Mobile vs. Web) there is currently no way to label the menu options in App Builder without that showing up in the app itself. Clients don't want students to see "Library (LDAP)" at the top of the AEK screen, but it is helpful to have the designation visible on the backend when making changes or assigning menu options to the right roles/profiles.

Creative Studio Last Modified data
It would be useful to see information regarding the date/time that content in Creative Studio was last modified and by whom.
With multiple departmental editors looking after their own content (or not looking after it enough!) it would be very useful to see when something was last updated in order to easily spot stale content before users report it themselves.. which doesnt look good :)

Ability to customise the Android logo + related logo/brand items
At the moment there is no way to customise the Android logo this leads to inconsistent visual branding.
Enterprises/institutions often use logo variations to address official branding guidelines. For example, a restricted space version of the official logo that is mandated to be used when there is little available space. Such restricted space logos often reduce or totally remove typography to avoid issues of logo/brand integrity that occur when only 30 or 40 pixels of square space is available.
Also, assuming this functionality is added it may be worthwhile to consider placing all the logo and branding (i.e., splash screens…

Tile movement in App Builder
When viewing a particular role and moving tiles in App Builder, other roles (and their tiles) can be affected by the placement algorithm but it is not possible to see this impact unless all roles are visible at once or you notice after publish.
This can make management tricky and irritates users if you don't notice an unintended change - finding a way to limit/stop this would be very useful.

Content area sub-menus and pages role targeting
We often have to create slightly different versions of content areas for different user roles. This means that any changes have to be managed on multiple tiles. It would be good if instead we could create a single content area, but have the menus and pages within target specified roles.

Add to the selection of phones available for preview in App Manager
Please could the list of phones/devices available for preview be updated in the App Manager.
There have been a significant number of larger screen phones released in the last few years and the app manager currently does not render these devices making it hard to see how campusM looks on a large screen.

Ensure your colours match obligatory accessibility requirements (darker text, more contrast in colours)
As a university, our digital platforms (from websites to apps) must meet The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) to at least level AA. One aspect of accessibility is colour contrast and legibility.
Instead of applying coloured text to a tinted colour background the text should always stay a dark charcoal grey even when colour applied.
Currently most ‘lights’ and ‘brights’ in our
colour palette couldn’t be used (and it remain accessible). This is limiting our (and other clients) choice and flexibility for using colour to style the app.3 votes
